World of John Williams CD/DVD Update

To Whom It May Concern:

I was one of the conductors for the World of John Williams concert and just enquiring what date the CD/DVD will be available at all? I saw 13th January in another post. Is this correct? I'd really like to be kept in the know here, just that I haven't heard anything and haven't even been consulted over it or anything. I also understand people have pre-paid for it as well?

I have been informed that they will be ready rather shortly, but a specific date has not yet been announced. When it is it shall be posted in the announcements section.

As one of those who pre-paid way back in May 2005, I share Daniel's concern over the considerable time delay in providing the products. Even pre-purchased DVDs of current First-run TV Series are generally with me within 3 months of the order (i.e. within weeks of the TV run ending). It's almost two weeks since you said 'rather shortly'. How much longer will it be? Question

You might also consider the "World Of John Williams" poster still showing in Town Hall station, as there is no '2005' year on the date and you may start attracting a range of commuters who believe it's advertising an event for this year - Can Daniel come back if the public demands it? Wink

The CD is in print and is due to be delivered for sale next week =D

EDIT: and yes, if the public demands it, we can host another WoJW... but probably not -_-;

It is now over a month later and still no CD/DVD Pack. Can you provide an update as to when I will receive my order from the night? Confused

I have also purchased the CD/DVD pack from the WOJW night, it was certainly the best 40 bucks I spent in 2005. However, I am still unable to enjoy it... Sad

I hope the Eminence staff keeps us updated. Probably should provide us an ETA so that we don't keep waiting up.

I'd very much like to see another movie-themed concert, perhaps by other composers such as Jerry Goldsmith and Hans Zimmer.

The CD has been mastered and I have the printed out version right here except printing errors >< I was all for sending them out to everyone then sending the reprints later but no, our management decided otherwise and send you the final version...

speaking of which, i'd like to clear some complications regarding the mailing address for this package. who do i contact regarding this? is there anyone i can email (and who'd actually reply me) to reconfirm the mailing address?

Ummm... from what I know, there will be no DVD and that letter has been sent out like months ago. There was several options there as well.

The CD itself is out and has been out for months now.

To whom it may concern,

I have been waiting for more than a year for the CD/DVD pack and I am growing frustrated. I am sure that the merchandise is released and has already been made available for online orders, yet I have received no package eventhough I have prepaid for it on the concert night.

I have informed through email many times of my change of address, and have received no acknowledgement or replies from the Eminence team. I understand that there is a change of plans in the Pack, removing of the DVD and I have not been informed of this, much less been approached to make a decision on the compensation.

I am growing impatient, and I feel that it is very irresponsible of the Eminence team to not respond to their customers/audience in such an unprofessional manner, especially after receiving a pre-payment.
