Do you play video games/watch anime at all Ayako? If so what are your favorites?
My hat will go off to anyone who can identify my avatar
EDIT: Close kkfc but no cigar. I will tell you however Toraoh was Wataru's friend in the series.

Hi Dangerous and kkfc01!
Sorry for a late reply- i had some performances and
had been practicing non-stop ><
I like Ghibli ^^
I really enjoy playing Ghibli songs!
To be honest, I don’t know about games much... ><
I only know old games~!
But whenever I’m asked to play game music,
I try to know about the game and its music
as much as possible before performing at a concert^^
I had so much fun playing Super Mario at ANIF05! ^^
Did you come?
What animes/games do you recommend? |

Laputa and Porco Rosso are my favorite Ghibli films.
Sadly ANiF06 was my first concert, but I'll certainly be attending your future concerts. I would imagine super mario would have been really fun.
As for game suggestions, a very bias suggestion would be Final Fantasy (preferably X). RPGs require no skill and is centred around story and characters. But they do tend to require hours of commitment which you probably don't have the time for. |

it really depends on what you like and what genres you like ...
if u want to watch a great anime based around life and all, i would recommend Honey and Clover. GTO (great teacher onizuka) is also great -very funny.
rite now, i cant really suggest any games since id need to kno wat genre u prefer...
although if you're interested in jdrama's, i would really recommend densha otoko...great story, really moved me...and im a dude ><
neway gtg back to work

I have a feeling the "mystery guest" will be Ayako - looking forward to hearing you play!!
Even if it isnt i'm sure eminence will have something good planned, though i think it was supposed to be a giveaway - if you've been to any other eminence concert - hehe just to be elusive . |

Ayako, thank you for your wonderful performance tonight. you play the violin gracefully, keep it up!! i'm really happy to hear your play in Piano Story IV especially the encore that you played. I wanted to take picture with you after the concert but apparently there's no autograph session at 5:30 in melbourne. i'm waiting eagerly for your next performance and eminence group as well in Passion. i believe it will be another marvellous concert. are we allowed to take picture in the coming concert? anyway, wish you all the best in your music study. Hope to see your next performance soon. |

Well I guess the cat's out of the bag re: our mystery performer.
I'm telling you Ayako, if I asked the people whether they're a fan of yours, everyone would put up both hands! You know I'm telling the truth!
As for autographs for the 5:30 session, I do sincerely apologise on behalf of Eminence, but due to the sheer quantity of pieces performed by our talented pair, we simply had no time to have an autograph session after our first show. We delivered too much to our fans during the performance itself!
As is, they barely got a brief moment to catch their breath before diving straight into the second show!!
Congratulations to both our performers for a mesmerising performance! Ayako, you've got a lot more adoring fans once again.
(And Soon, stop scaring Ayako! XD) |

Hey Ayako! My name is prince and I really enjoyed your performance last night, you truly behold such a beautiful gift. You put so much belief and emotion behind each note you play, my friend and I were mesmerised by your playing! If you don't remember, my friend Michael was the guy who asked you to sign his lucky cat keychain! anyway, I want you to know that we are dedicated fans after that maginificent performance and we are definitely coming to see you at the next eminence concert in december! you are just magical with your music and have inspired me to write more music as a songwritier... Goodluck with your music endeavours and I truly hope to hear from you! all the best aya-chan!

Actually no, Chris, it's just the 'thumbnail' that doesn't seem to display properly. Click on the photo and the full image displays fine. Works okay for me anyway.
Not sure why the 'thumbnails don't work properly, as they used to be okay. I'll have to look into it when I have time. |

It's weird, it seems like some people can see the pics, and others can not...
BTW, is there a reason as to why the colours become so distorted on the "thumbnails"?
Either way, I happily have the originals... ^___^ |

Thank you so much for the lovely messages!
I really enjoyed performing in Melbourne,
thank you so much for those of you who came
I wish I could have stayed there longer~>< I love Melbourne!
Those of you who came to 5:30 session,
I am so sorry for the ‘buzzing noise’ during the first two pieces
of my performance.
I think something (sand or a small stone) got inside my violin
just before my performance and made the noise every time
the strings vibrated. So sorry about that.. ><
Lawrence_oh,
I am really happy to hear that you liked the encore piece!
That is one of my favorite pieces^^ The technical demands are massive tho><
I was worried whether the audience would enjoy it since it is not an anime music nor a game music.
Looking forward to seeing you again at the Passion!
Prince,
Thank you so much for your lovely message.
Of course I remember you^^
I listened to your songs.. they are amazing!!
I love your voice, it suits your songs really well.
Do you have any performances coming up??
Joby,
Hi Joby! It was nice talking to you at the staff dinner after the concert!
Melbourne crew and volunteers are FANTASTIC!!
Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for the concert.
Can’t wait to work with you guys again |

I'm not performing infront of audiences yet but I am working on some CD's with a few people at the moment so hopefully when they are through I could make you a copy or we could colab one day! it would be so awesome to feature violin solos in my originals... hehe that's one day! Anyway thanks again for offering your performances down at melbourne aya, it was well appriciated! goodluck and take care!

Ayako, you must have loved that standing ovation at the end of the night, and you deserved it too. People have been asking me a great deal about your next performance, and those of you thinking of doing the same thing will just have to wait!
Well done Ayako on another brilliant Melbourne Eminence concert!

Hi Ayako, thankyou for a great performance at the Melba Hall, you were fantastic and like you said, while the last piece was technically more demanding it really showed how talented you are. You know something is good when it moves you to the extent that you feel you should go to more live events like this. Maybe Eminence should add a viola and cello and we could have another "Bond" ^^
I have yet to hear Masaki play but I think it would be really great to hear the two of you play together.
I'm Looking forward to listening to the CD's this weekend.
Take care, and keep enjoying life. |
