| Nah just rock up in 'nice' clothes, you don't have to wear formal clothes. |

| We'll the last time i checked, cosplaying at and ANiF event is discouraged, as we try to keep it as a semi formal occasion. Of course if you really want to, then no one can stop you. But if you over do it, you might not be allowed into the hall. [Waits for someone higher up to correct me] |

Manifest being.
Only bad thing about cosplay is ruining your outfits when sitting down... but im sure it will bring a smile on a guests face if you cosplay somebody from a game you composed =] |

come as Kon in a suit! hahahaa. that'd be cool!
But yeah... as long as it's in keeping with the semi-formal nature of the event, i don't see a problem with it. *waits for some1 higher up to correct me and Pixelwarrior*
And no weapons! And yeah... you can't be disturbing anyone else! So no big hats etc... and you have to be able to fit into your allocated seat if you have a costume on.
Manifest = Melbourne Anime Festival
search for it using ur favourite search engine. |

I'm pretty sure Eminence has no problem with it, however the Arts Centre may have issues.
I should have the answer either tonight or tomorrow, and will post with the outcome.
Australia doesn't really cosplay? Whaaa? Yes, many people do!
Update: I just spoke to our director of operations, and she informed me we're pretty certain you're MORE than welcome to cosplay.
As far as we know the only requirements the Arts Centre has is similar to what we do; ie: wear shoes and decent clothes.
That said, we will check with the Arts Centre for you, but keep in mind that along with said cosplay DO NOT BRING WEAPONS ETC. Even fake Sephiorth/Link swords etc may possibly pose a problem. You guys know what it's like, anything that is potentially dangerous may be held by us until the concert is over for safety reasons. DO NOT BRING WEAPONS REAL OR FAKE TO OUR CONCERTS!
So basically it's similar to Manifest etc where you can go nuts as long as it's safe and not going to annoy other patrons. If you have large costume items that will obscure someone else's view, make sure you can take it off in the hall.
PLEASE cosplay unless otherwise noted during the week here, we very strongly encourage it! The composers will no doubt be interested by it, the arts centre staff will no doubt find it cool/amusing compared to the usual Arts Centre patrons, and we find it liberating that our audience is so enthusiastic about what we do. |

Makes me want to cosplay all the more... then again my mum would prolly give me a hiding hehehe...
Be a bit sad if heaps of people turned up in cosplay and got denied =[
As for dressing policys I did a quick search and this is what I found but feel free to further confirm it for the event.

What should I wear?
The days of everybody wearing a top hat and tails to the theatre are gone. These days, it’s about what you think is appropriate. Many people still consider an evening at the theatre to be an event worth dressing up for, so you certainly won’t feel out of place in a suit. However, being comfortable in your jeans and a t-shirt is an equally viable option.
Dress however you’d like! |

| Well tell your mum the orchestra WANTS you to cosplay. As previously stated, I'll post when we triple check with the venue, but at this stage it's a go go. If you're planning on doing it I suggest you check back here before the concert just in case. |

Cosplay as one of the Turks. You know you want to, you don't even need any special clothing (sort of).
Rocking up with a whole bunch of friends dressed like the Turks. Now that'd be awesome. You need someone to dress as Rufas though!
And yes, I know some of you know I don't like FF7, but the Turks are just too cool. |

Haha that would be cool, too bad none of my freinds apeciates these kinda things where I currently live, I brought in on from where I used to live so I guess I cant have a group...
The sad part it I'm left with a spare ticket now...
Turks would be the coolest group to turn up in... especially if your bold with a tan you can come up as rude =] |

oh yeah... and for those who didn't know,
A reserve has sold out (a few weeks ago already)
Remaining tickets are going pretty quickly, so if you're being lazy, stop and go buy your tickets!!! Don't wait for on the night tickets... aside from being more expensive, you might not get a ticket, let alone good seats!
So hurry and buy buy buy! ^^
CCJc: hope this brings it back to topic. |

Mmm... wear almost nothing and when they deny you reply with
THIS IS MADNESS!
Theres one more A Reserve left... its sitting on my desk collecting dust... prolly my sister will have to take that spot =[
Do you think ticketmaster refunds them cos I know she will be a pain for me to drag along... |

| It has been explained already, though possibly elsewhere that there are no refunds for this concert, and if you believe your situation to be dire you'll need to take the matter up with Ticketmaster. |

Eitherway I will prolly have to give it to my sister in the end... just give her a lesson on being respectful to others, especially the guests >.< |

| The Problem is not the size of the screen, it's that heads block the view. |

Cosplay is now officially welcome as part of the concert, by both us and the Arts Centre (who by the way are particularly interested to see!).
See this thread for the announcement. |

| Around 2 and a half hours, ending roughly at 10pm. But if your waiting to get autographs, you can expect waiting times to be well over an hour if your at the back of the pack. |
