<3 you
What an awesome place to express things about the musicians. I wish I had previously looked around the website more to do this earlier.
Kumiko's presence and performing was what made my evening extra special. And I rarely leave gigs with such a vivid impression of anything or anyone.
truly amazing Kumiko |

lol
just thought that i would add that everything that has been written about kumiko is absolutely true - not only is she incredibly talented and beautiful, she is also incredibly down to earth and grounded, and a great person to have around
oh, and it goes without saying that she is also a very cool as a teacher too, and has taken me through a whole series of FF pieces with accompanying analysis (which i rarely manage to master - lol )
i've been lucky enough to have seen her perform a few concerts, and heck - they always leave me completely breathless and amazed, especially her solo concerts
next time round there should definitly be more 'piano' orientated tunes - and a place for her on the programme! - lol |

Hi!
Thank you all for your supportive comments! I really appreciate it and I'm also very glad I was able to make a little positive difference to the concerts.
I wasnt too familiar with the forum till NeonSprinkle introduced me to it the other day ( thankyou!) and its great I now also have somewhere I can stay in touch with eminence fans apart from the after concert signings.
Thank you Nephtis for starting the thread- were you able to sit in the audience section during the concert?
Ryunite- Legend of Mana was one of my favourites to play. It has a beautiful melody. Im very glad you enjoyed it.
Patryn! I'm looking foward to the next gigs with Eminence this year so hopefully there will be some piano parts for it. Looking forward to seeing you if we do melbourne too!
Brad, I remember I hassled you over at the table signing to check how long the que was in Melbourne and possibly asked for beer as well at the table?? thanks for being such a champ..
Im looking foward to seeing you at the next concert ShushKebab and chibi-rie. Pls mention your forum names to me if you come to the signing!
Confuzzled KC and mad1dude- thank you for mentioning Tekken!! that was the hardest one of all- I'm glad you remembered!!
Fantasia alla marcia was also a joy to play. Ubslasherx- I'm amazed you cried in it!!
Figgie! I'm sorry i left the table! I had some backstage issues to deal with. Next time I will sign 2ce if you can make it.
Vonbon - yeah i had to sign on hiros page just to annoy him love the pics of you and Mr Shiina- wasnt he the coolest guy?
Haku- keep your good manners
Josh- thanks for your appreciation and i hope you can continue your support for eminence.
NeonSprinkle! what do i say? I cant wait to see you again soon.
Damien- Its flattering to read your comments. Thank you!
Evy- one word for you: 'practice!' |

Stop stalking her, Ryu.
Anyhows... now that the resident fanboy/lurker has posted, it's safe for the "normal" people to post, and say:
"Welcome to the Forums"
I'll leave others to do the hearts...
Anyhow, I certainly do hope to see you down in Melbourne some more...
Fantastic to have a chat with you at the lunch, even if it was only for a short while.
And yeah... you were really quite bossy to Brad... but you know you SHOULD have been bossier and not express any gratitude whatsoever... that's what he's there for, so just kick him around next time. ^^
Don't worry too much, we all do it. It's fun!
But again, welcome and hope to see you on here a bit more often. |

Why always me, Patryn? =P Kumiko wasn't bossy at all, 'sif kicking me is fun! Meh, at least I have Hiro on my side. XD
Speaking of which, it is good to see you have joined the forums! That queue sure was ridiculously long, but it sped up rather quickly later on. Either that, or people got bored and left/merchandising queue wasn't constantly reinforcing it. But aye, welcome! And hearts as Soon said. =P
That said, enough tangenting as I have to leave for work in around ten minutes. Once again, it's good to see you on the forums, and I hope we hear a lot more from you soon (Both on the forums, and in performances!) |

This coming from our "crew leader" (I use the term loosely ). I'm not weird, just disgruntled. |

Pplz, while all this good-natured banter might be considered somewhat amusing, please remember the rules for the fanthreads.
Fanthread rules are here
Please, no spamming and keep to the topic in respect of your favoured musician.
Remember, most musicians do not have the time to regularly visit the forum only to find that they have to wade through countless non-related posts.
Thank you! |

Regardless of which city Kumiko is from, which maybe someone could actually clarify at some point as well, at least we can all agree how much of a fantastic and talented person she is. There seems to be no question there between all of us.
How much teaching does Kumiko do since I read that she also teaches? |

Dear All,
Thanks for your continued posts and welcoming me to the forum! I have to admit I was in hysterics when reading about the debate between syd and melb.
Just to clear the air a bit (!!), I was (for almost 5 years), and am currently in London for music purposes but I am moving back home to syd permanently in July again. So... I guess I naturally have a biased loyalty towards syd BUT I have to admit that the melboune crowd were even more enthusistic as an audience compared to the concerts in syd which got the whole orchestra going with a buzz!!. We all felt it from the first second on stage! And I guess also from the posts, one could perhaps say that melb crew are also a little more....artistic (??) as you described vonbon...
Yes, I hope something like piano stories appears again.. I'm not exactly sure what goes on in the concerts but I already like the sound of it knowing that there is some involvement with the piano.
Thanks again for all your continued support and help with eminence. I'm very much looking forward to seeing you all sooner than later. |

Great to be acknowledged by one so talented :p
Its great having you around in our "artistic" little forums.
I"m pretty sure my pic to the left summarises the quirks Melbourne Crew have. I for one can attest that at least 2 other people would have loved to have done what I did. I believe I have to give Bing all credit though for telling me that Shiina-san loves hugs. Thats probably what started it all.
I guess its early times for now, but hope to see you back here, for the next time we"ll make sure there is special room for you to sign... Or you could sign right over Hiro for tradition's sake :p
All the best, |

Hi Kumiko
I heard you play, A BIT. I did hear you play tekken and the kingdom hearts 2 piece, I was like "WOZAAAAH!!!" makes me regret my lack of practice.
The piano can be a bit hard to hear depending on where you are sitting and I was outside the performance hall for a lot of the concert XD
UNDER-FED CREW DYING IN THE BACKSTAGE HAHA =P
hope to see you perform again, esp in a smaller concert where you can REALLY show us what your capable of =)
(that is without the hungriness and dizziness) |

Can someone please let me know if Kumiko will be joining in for the end of July concert? If so, I'll be buying tickets for sure. Hope to see more than one date for that gig or even better, wouldn't it be great if she play the piano in Ayako's concert too? a hint for Hiro.. |
