I did a quick search of the forums to see if there was any previous discussion of the topic, apparently not. So i'll start off by, would anyone want a concert where your music from your most favourite asian drama series?
Does it have to be asian? Who knows, I think the bold & beautiful release any soundtracks XD
Im mostly up to date with Korean, Japanese and a little of Taiwanese dramas (if I have time on my hands) which wouldn't mind it ever being played at a live concert one day. Something that I dont think has never happened due to lack of market demand.
But hey! Lets start discussing!

Nobuta wo Produce. Ahuh. Ahuh.
Drama music would be pretty good, but I don't know enough about this category to make any intellectual comments. |

It's all just the bog standard generic melodramatic kinda background music anyway, so it's not like it's really all that memorable lol.
That was something I was going to add to my post, but some people may argue otherwise. I mean, some tracks -are- good, but the diversity of their style doesn't vary by much. As such, most tracks don't portray as much emotion as game and anime music do (or so for me). Perhaps I just watch the wrong types of live action stuff. |

Ohhh K-drama YES!
Forget 'naff doramas and Taiwanese dramas.
But if it was going to be considered, only the absolute blockbuster dramas over the last few years, which have had staying power would work (in my opinion). Off the top of my head:
-Full House (a given...Hye-kyo!)
-Goong
-Ju Mong
-My name is Kim Sam-soon
-My Girl
There are others that I would like to hear but they aren't popular enough (Wonderful Life (Eugene!!!), Over the Rainbow, Sassy Girl Chun-Hyang, Wedding).
...I'll stop ranting now . |

| All In, a Korean series, had good orchestral music. That's the only series I've watched so far whose music stood out. |

Hye-gyo is good, All In is not .
Anyway as good as K-dramas are, why not have some non-asian scores. I for one would love to hear the score from "Spooks" played. Spooks is the best television program on air, hands down! |
