| hey ppl i jst realised that there is no thread on the new Naruto Shippuuden. its the time when naruto comes back after his training with Jiraiya, and the group Akatsuki are after the tailed demons. i found the anime to be good and expect it to get even better after reading the manga !! xD ur thoughts ? |

Naruto has silly looking hair... even for anime... So I choose not to watch it...
I saw one episode once... it seemed kiddy-ish
What makes naruto so special that everyone loves watching it anyways >.< |

The story is really good. The Manga's getting really interesting... well, it was at the start of last year... been waiting for Inane's scanlations. xD
But yeah... the story is really good and fun! if u watch the dubbed version, please don't compare it to the original... original is much better.
And if u have watched the original... i suppose it's semi-childish, but themes and story are still good. ^^

hmm.... well... I think it really depends which episode you watch to see what's so good about naruto.
Most people who watch from the beginning get hooked. But if you come in somewhere in the middle, particularly if it's a filler episode there's a chance you'd be turned off by it. THen again Naruto isn't necessarily everyone's cup of tea.
I like the new episodes. I didn't watch the fillers... thank god. XD yeah, it's pretty exciting. =D I don't like Gaara's new clothes >.> reminds me of... Lain's bear pajama thing. |

I started reading Naruto from when the manga first started along with Hunter X Hunter... For some reason, everyone prefered Naruto while I thought Hunter X Hunter was clearly the better...
I find Naruto amusing at times and a decent read when I"m bored, but the anime drags on like a classic Dragonball series and even worse than Dragonball with its couple of seasons of fillers...
I liked reading Naruto at first, but only Hajime no Ippo, Hunter X Hunter, Slam Dunk!, Ranma 1/2 and Rekka no Honou seem to find their way back in front of me for another read through. |

haha agreed, i reckon hxh is kinda turnin into dbz, the whole cell saga haha bugs lol hunter was awesome at the start i only started reading it cos it was by the same author of yuyyuhakusho which i might saw is one of the BEST oldies  haha but atm naruto is the best for me thru all the manga, i hav never been bored once |

yeah..the manga has been good.
it's the anime that let us down with the fillers...
but, at least it's back to manga storyline now, so it's all good. ^^
*waits for Inane to release volume 33 onwards* |
