Sch-weet! I'm so happy to see that Melbourne has been upgraded from maaaybe to TBA. Smile Hope it's in August. Wink

Haha, sweet! I'm so glad I subscribed to this thread because your post let me know of this good news asap! Laughing

I just had a look at photos of the venue on the web and it looks great! I like how Eminence is having concerts in new places and that are easily accessible to boot. Well, at least for me.

Can't wait to attend it!

yes, Eminence in Melbourne is still looking for the ideal place to host these concerts.

Hamer Hall looks like the best place for the larger concerts, while smaller ones... so many places to choose from that it's hard to decide unless we've been there.

BMW Edge does look like a nice venue. I especially like the view from there! Very Happy

Ditto. Crying or Very sad Wink

Anyway, here's a pic for those who are wondering what all the fuss is about. I prefer my concerts at night because the night feels more magical or some bs like that but for this venue, I'd make an exception.

And of course, its splendour and 'magic' at night:

The view sure is great.

Patryn, what size would you classify the Melbourne University Melba Hall as? How was it? Can't believe I didn't attend the concert Eminence had there.

Anyway, the Merlyn theatre at the Malhouse was pretty good for Passion but it looks like BMW Edge might trump it in location and ambience for smaller scale concerts. Very Happy

Melba hall.... um... that the one we had during Manifest? PSIV? that was smallish-Medium from what I can remember.

I went to check out BMW Edge yesterday, and it seems alright. that picture is a bit misleading! xD But it does look nice.

Melba hall has a smaller seating capacity than BMW Edge.

Neither can I.

Piano Stories IV brought tears to my eyes. In my opinion it was the best concert I"ve been to, even though due to a lack of advertising I don"t think numbers were all that good... Nice cheap tickets though Smile
It was my first Eminence concert and the emotions in the music were incredible. Of course, ANIF07 totally trumps it in terms of audience showing and participation, but you could just feel things so much more personally as if it was one on one. And Ayako was as brilliant as always, especially her crazy fun encore.

Ahh the memories Smile

They were ok...I even managed to sell some tickets at Manifest for it before it started (if you know me, that's no small feat Wink )

soooooooo...

Destiny Reunion is gonna be great, isn't it?

Sounds like a lot of great music at a great venue!

Well, BMW Edge does look rather nice. Might be a little weird, but should still be very good.

Music sounds good too!

um... not sure when exactly ticket sales will be up, but if it hasn't already been mentioned,

Melbourne Tickets will be sold by Ticket Master.

But again, they're not on sale yet, so we'll all just have to wait. ><
