eeeww... I should forward the link to my dad.. he's crazy about baozi (esp BBQ pork)..
but I wonder what'll happen to a softened cardboard in our stomache, probably not that bad eh? maybe the industrial chemical's no good. Is the meat made from cardboard as well? |

Don't worry, the cardboard is just pulped cellulose.... think of it as extra fibre.
No extra nutrience, but escentually not life threatening.
The chemicals however are poisonous. I don't suggest anyone else try that. |

Not cat....
Cats aren't eaten in china.....
How I know.
I believe I've tried everything wierd there is in China.....
Don't believe everything you hear....
And don't bag out wierd food items! The french eat snails, the Austrailans eat kangaroo and the Americans eat nothing but food jacked up with chemicals and processed until you can't tell what kind of animal it had been prior.
I think wierd Chinese food is reletively normal =3 |

I recon dog is over rated....
But scorpion's nice! Did you eat the live ones with cherry sauce?! Or did you opt for the softer option? The already dead scorpions...? |

Bwahahahaha! I thought the cold war was over.
Have to watch out for those evil capitalists!! (Third post, embedded youtube link).

I'm as white Australian as snow and I have never once eaten Kangaroo. Just because we can eat it, doesn't mean we do. You would struggle to find Kangaroo meat at most restaurants, butchers and supermarkets.

Those cats weren't served up as part of the menu.... they just used their meat as a cheap substitude of other meats.
the menu didn't say cat meat.... |

First you say:

Then you say:

So which one is it? No cat meat is eaten AT ALL, or no cat meat is SERVED at a restaurant, implying that it is still eaten. |

You know perfectly well what I mean, cats aren't pursued as a food source.
Chinese people don't eat it... that doesn't mean that some cheap scate restaurants don't serve it!!! |
