This hoax might be some misinformed news about the total lunar eclipse tomorrow evening. It is a total eclipse where the moon will pass directly behind the Earth. When it is fully behind the Earths shadow, it will take on a red glow/colour similar to what Mars would look like.
6:51pm Start eclipse
7:52pm Total eclipse of moon.
8:37pm Greatest Eclipse
9:23pm Moon moves out of eclipse
10:24pm End of eclipse
Time are in AEST. Best view will be from the eastern states. Perth will see the moon already eclipsed as it passes over the horizon. |

It always occurred to me, when looking at the moon normally, it looks like a plain disc.
But that night when I saw it, I really noticed that it too a more solid state. It kinda reminded me of the planet Mustafar from Star Wars Ep III. |

Cloudy in Perth too. Couldn't see anything, next one won't be for another 3 years and apparently Perth is *just* going to miss it |
