After months of waiting (from when it shipped out in mid August and got lost in the process) I finally received the CDs ANIF '03, '04 and Passions

The package arrived in a simple padded bag, definately not $17.40 worth imo, the cost should've been around $5. My address was even spelt wrong (it was done with a blue biro) and the writing wasn't very clear (a bit faded, hard to read), on the back there's not even a postcode or state listed, just a guy named Jonathan and no indication that its from Eminence or ANIF

I know as I've sent many similar packages with ebay. The Passions CD was cracked on the front and back, the ANIF '04 CD holder was broken so it arrived loose, luckily no damage to the CD itself that I can see.

The packaging on the ANIF 03 is very basic, it literally looks like something that somebody whipped up in 2 min containing a picture of Rikku (FFX), a white background and a weird font for the header that's almost unreadable on the side, it doesn't even say '2003' except for the small print and there's no track listing on the back, you have to open up the leaflet inside.

The packaging on Passions is nice but definately not for my tastes (a white shaped girl playing a violin with lots of flowery patterns and curly font). It seems more fan-made than professional which is no bad thing but the coverart might put some guys off to the point of converting the CDs into MP3s (which is what I did)

The packaging on the ANIF 04 is really top-notch, its got beautiful art, professional look and has clear and precise track listings on the back displaying what tracks came from which movie. I guess this is when ANIF suddenly became popular and tried to look more upmarket

The music as a whole is wonderful, I've yet to test it on a volume I'd desire without waking the neighbours. ANIF 04 is very short though, ANIF 03 however has many tracks and seems endless (which is good) and makes up for the primitive packaging

I'll post a photo once my camera's recharged and to give it a rating for my money its hard to say. I've also kept the packaging too if you want some photos for reference

I don't think its worth $110 incl p&h, I'd say more around $60-80. I guess thats why its much better to just buy it from a merchant at a concert instead, you get each CD cheaper, there's no p&h fee, there's no 8 week waiting process and you know that the items aren't damaged before you've bought them

The packages that we do use though have bubble wrap inside of it
thus it could've been those at the post office at fault for the possible damages

Where'd that other post go?

Anyway if anyone's considering buying these and want to know what the packaging looks like, here's the front, back & inside shots (you may have to click on the photo to enlarge)

I always held the belief that it's Ayako-san on the Passion cover.....

Who can't be pleased with that??!!!
