Lets see now... ah! thats right. a member of the executive of my anime club had little fliers for the Sakura Snow (is that the right one?) and ANIF04 concerts. My younger brother decided he wanted to go (him being the gamer of the family, and me being the inept one who never made it past those damn jumping houses in FFVII - well... until last weekend, that is!). I thought it might be interesting, and I also knew a friend of mine was a mad FF fan. So when I mentioned it to her, and she was insanely keen, I decided to go along.
Suffice to say I loved it, and my friend thought I was fabulous for getting her into the same room as Nobuo Uematsu.
What happened next? I decided to convert as many people as possible.
I dragged my dad along to World of John Williams, my ff loving friend plus 2 even more ff-obsessed friends and a friend from uni to Destiny, and ANIF05, a friend of a friend from my anime club to Piano Stories 3, and another school friend to ANIF06 (there were 6 of us there, in possibly the best seats in the hall)
Every single person I've dragged along has loved it.
And I think there are a few more I can convince for next time too
And now I watch the forums like a hawk for the slightest hint of the next concert. ok, ok, I'm not quite that bad. |

I think what you should do in the future is contact some of the newspapers and ask if they want to mention it in the "whats on" section, or put an add in with the other conserts on etc. |

I had no idea until I walked past a poster in chinatown.
When I saw it, I almost fainted. I'm a huge fan of video game music (Classics, MGS, FF, Tactics, Chrono series...)
Too bad there's no Wild Arms.
(Yeah, yeah, I'm an older gamer. -.-) |

I came by Eminence by complete accident. I was reading an interview of Hitoshi Sakimoto about FFXII on IGN AU. It mentioned something briefly about a visit related to Eminence Orchestra, and I took the opportunity to look it up. |

In a gaming magazine (Hyper). They had a competition a while back to win some signed ANIF CDs. After waiting at the mailbox for a couple of years I came to the conclusion I hadn't won anything and ventured off onto the internet to learn more about it.
I'm surprised that given its popularity, this remains the only website where the merchandise is purchasable and to my dismay, the ANIF 05 CD is nowhere to be found (unless you either pre-ordered 2 years ago or you've stumbled across it at the recent concerts). I live in Perth so attending these events is nigh-on impossible and I don't have a time machine to pre-order
Luckily I've been lurking around these forums for the past couple of months and have now secured my ANIF 03+04+Passions CDs (which are in the process of being shipped). Never witnessed the music aside from the Youtube videos so you can guarantee I'm going to be pretty satisfied with my purchase |

| I get a daily gaming newsletter from palgn.com, and that had a segmet on eminence. I checked it out and was like "omg...I HAVE to go and see the next concert!" So I got tickets for passion '06, but couldn't go >_< and had to sell tickets to a friend. Then I went to ANIF07 and Reunions. Awesome stuff. |

| I found out about Eminence years ago. An ex-girlfriend's friend's boyfriend conducted the first ever performance for Eminence I believe. I practically had the ticket in my hand and ready to fly down to see it happen but for some reason I never bothered. Still yet to see Eminence. |
