I've noticed a few things that have bothered me over several concerts and I thought I'd be able to raise them here and suggest some solutions.
-Camera staff when walking around, please face your LCDs away from the audience. After taking a photo, the camera auto-reviews the image and the light from the LCD is extremely distracting. Please make it part of your operational procedure to face it away!
-Please enforce a silence policy. A polite request from the MC to the audience to refrain from speaking or whatever during the concert would at least let people know that its disrespectful.
-Enforce no photo/video taking policy. People who raise their camera to take a photo or video of the concert are not only disrespecting the listeners behind them, but they're distracting and ruining the experience for everyone else who paid good money to see the concert! Again, an announcement thru the MC to educate the audience would be all you can do.
-Enforce ninja uniform for moving staff. In the last concert, moving staff were wearing white shirts (I understand it was hot...) but it was really distracting. Wearing black isnt that much warmer being in an air con environment and you totally go unnoticed.
Hope you dont get cut about what I'm saying, I just want to aid the improvement of quality of the concerts

mate i was there for the concert performance, which consists of more than just listening.

and I didn't remember any crew/staff members with white shirts.....
unless you mean me... but I wore a heavy hot black formal jacket over it....
to mimic Hiro-san's Passion concert style. |
