Greetings to those who are looking to join this forum.
Eminence warmly welcomes all who are looking for a place to find out more about Eminence, the musicians, Eminence events, and any other related topics. It's also a place to discuss anything generally related to games, animes and music. In fact, you can talk about almost anything you want.
But the line is drawn at spam and any other posts that are deemed offensive or wholly inappropriate.
Recently, I have changed the way that new forum registrations can occur. This is to combat an ongoing issue with spammers and offensive posts.
If you wish to join this forum, you no longer are able to self-activate your account. Previously the forum system would send to your email account a verification code that you would use. This will no longer occur.
All activations are now performed by me. I will only activate your account after you confirm your real name and some personal details using a valid email address. When you submit your registration request, I will contact you to do this (hence the valid email address).
If I am unable to contact you at the email address you registered with, or if you fail to answer my email in a reasonable timeframe, then I am afraid I will not be able to activate your account.
This is not meant to be an invasive or difficult process, but is intended to weed out those who are not intending to be genuine forum members.
Please accept our apologies if this causes any inconvenience. Blame it on the recent spate of spammers! You should see the ban list.... |
