Well I was just havinga chat with Lucy Yeoman at ANIF 2007 Anime edition, and she said she really wanted to hold a concert that involved singing or pop music. one or the other. the details are kinda hazy But i thought i'd try and help nudge the idea forward.
I know we';ve had the Concept ofa rock concert come about before but I was thinking of osomething slightly less invigorating as much as I'd love to hear god knows From haruhi or Konya Harricane from teh 1988 Bubblegum crisis...
But a piece from Sousei no aquarion(Genesis of Awuarion) which was a wrewritten version of It's own Opening theme to be sung in english was made by the original creators and used in teh show. the following is a clip for example.

I know it kinda defeats the Eminence 'Orchestra' Name but it's an inbteresting concept that i couldn't help push forward. I mean we've had youmi Kimura do her own solo as well and we've had the choir sing various other tunes. I'm sure other people could even add to the list of music/songs.

and a personal fave, but most likely the LAST thing I'd hear Eminence do is Beyond teh Bounds from Anubis zone of the enders. (Zone of the enders 2nd runner outside of Japan.)

Hmm, choir songs are rare in anime, but there are a few, and there are always the songs that can be modified and the ones which have vocals and instrumental backing. Sounds great, hope to hear something soon.
