im not sure, the guy at the bookshop told me that they changed how the booking was done differently this year, compared to other years,
kinokuniya took one half, split in the middle, while eminence took the other half, i assume that those were for the online people :S _________________

I was sitting in the gallery as well i like it up there, i was surprised more people weren't sitting up there either. Last year at ANIF04 the whole gallery was packed... maybe because mr Nobuo Uematsu was sitting up there hahaha i was sitting in arm's reach of him _________________

I was worried at first, I haven't met or spoke to Phillip before. I always love to meet my fellow staff and the artists I work for, it makes me feel a lot better. This man is a genius. Even through these forums you can tell he really made the concert, with his humour and casual attitude. Oh, and watching him lose his mind during One-Winged Angel made my respect leap a thousand-fold. Go Phillip, go. You also need to come to Melbourne next year. Hell, any artist from Eminence that's reading this, come down here I want to say hi! _________________

argggh that's sounds as if it will hurt a lot , is it really effective? retina eh? does it also fix any cross-eyed eyes?
btw how on earth do you guys get the pictures? they look great! _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |

i used to be 450 and 500 degrees for my eyes.... i stopped wearing glasses a few days after i started the treatment, but i still wear the contacts every night (even though i can skip nights) and about cross-eyed eyes... i dont know about that.....
how to take the pics? lol, point and shoot!! hahaha... jokes... just try to get enough lighting because the pics will most likely turn out dark without flash...
just wondering but are we allowed to take pics with flash when theres an intermission, before and after the concert... that kinda stuff? |

maybe during intervals, nobody will mind, but to get enough light, i think you need cameras that need a big lense that can take in lots of light and enough to produce bright picture, otherwise it will just dark
now any other pic folks? somebody probably keeps all for herself or probably have converted them into posters even haha who knows
[off topic]
wearing contacts at night? i thought you take them off during the night _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |

u can do it with basic cameras
but remember, no flash when in-door = hold the camera VERYYYY still!!!!!!!
or just use a tripod....or rest your camera on something

Dear All,
Daniel Smith here - I was one of the conductors for A Night In Fantasia 2004 and World Of John Williams 2005. I've been working with Maestro Philip Chu over the past two years and just to keep you informed, he is in his early 20s (we've been studying together) and he is an amazing person in every way. Just my two cents All my best,
Dan. _________________ www.danielsmithonline.com |

Sorry, I lied. I just checked my calendar then. At this stage, most of 2006-08 is in Europe (flute/conducting). There's a tentative flute recital I'll be doing in Sydney in early 2006 and a tentative conducting performance in 2007 but unfortunately not with Eminence at this stage anyway. Schedules change all the time so the unexpected always can occur. Hope this helps As far as I know, there is however a DVD and CD coming out from World Of John Williams but not sure when - that would be a question for Eminence. Ciao! Incase no one has figured, I was the one with the Canon 350D at ANIF. Hiro has a copy of the pics. I'l leave it to him if he wants to post any up. He and the design team might want to do something with them, so I'l leave the pics to them to play with.
I might post a couple . _________________
