This is a new anime.
And its pretty good so far (5 eps)
apparently a total of 52 episodes.
related to Blood: The Last Vampire.
Actually haven't seen that movie
So go watch it ppl. :p
Its pretty bloody though ^^;
the first ep, first scene at least :p

Genres: Horror, Mystery, Supernatural
Plot Summary: Throughout the passage of time and the shifts in backgrounds, a particular war continues to leave its mark on history, extending its influence into the modern world. There are two major groups involved in the ensuring war. The first group consists of monsters known as Chiropterans who can change their appearances into that of human beings. They are actually immortals who feed on the blood of the living. The second group is an organisation known as the "Red Shield", formed to track down these monsters and exterminate them. I've only seen the first ep of Blood+, but I'm eager to see more. I, too, recommend it. It has no relation to the initial movie as far as I understand.
52 eps... wow. That's pretty long, considering its content. But on the other hand, they must have a lot in store for us for it to be that long.

if it was 26. I think i'd really puke blood.
no relation to the movie? really? ohh okay.

careful~
i had these on the HDD already havent been able to sif through them, but first episode does look really grusome, if you can handle animes such as Chrno Crusade, then this is something similar, cept with lots of blood
the horro level is about the same

have seen 1st ep only. Looks good. Waiting for a 13 ep batch before I start watching more. I dont like to wait on a good series. Or they turn out like Aquarion or Tide-Line Blue or Futakoi Alt. Im still waiting. GRR.

Yeah, a bit - although I'm only able to base this off the first two episodes. I'm sure once the series progresses it'll become just as bloody. The Last Vampire is only about 40 mins long.

 Keep watching it
It's a really gory anime when watching the first 5 minutes
which got me stuck into it 
yea... it goes on pretty good and doesn't sidetrack like Naruto which really *##$% me off.
