man i got no time to watch anything
but yeh haha..
my love for bread has increased 100000x thanks to yakitate japan.
it's gone down again though, since i haven't watched it.
Oh well, I guess when i'm super uber poor, i'll watch it so i tend to go buy bread instead of ... ramen or something.

bread top? that store sounds like the popular "bread talk" stores in singapore and Indonesia and the logo is the same shape and colour hhmmm.....oh and they are also wearing similar uniform to yakitate japan i think :p
hhhmm my favourite bakey in city is maxims, st helens on sussex street near golden east ocean restaurant, and another one is savoi (dun know how to spell the name) near market city
the one next to y2k is not the one selling emperor's bun, like vivi said, it's just next to it, i think it's quite new coz i just saw it like in the last month or something, go and check it out i think it's quite ok
oh and for ice cream vivi, it's always "passion flower" down at capitol square (or darling harbour) with its durian, black sesame and green tea ice cream oh yeah! _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |

transistor, you're spot on!! I noticed it too!! Bread top = Bread Talk... the first time my friends mentioned it to me... I got all excited thinking it was Bread Talk... it's kind of like... a second rate copy. The funny thing is, at that moment we just came out of a lecture about copyright law and how people can make money out of dobbing businesses in who copy other businesses. But I don't know, mebe Bread Top is like... a branch of Bread Talk?
The breads in Bread Talk are SOOOOO delicious!! The Green Tea bread is heaven! With Taro or Redbean inside. >< it makes Bread Top grean tea pan taste like paper.
Anyway... yeah there's a bread store that opened in the new part of westfield Parra... it's called Honore... but it's still... so so. >.> blargh.
Whose heard of Keroro Gunso? This anime is made by the same company who made yakitate... I can see some similarities! It's so funny too! But Yakitate still rules. _________________

getting kinda off topic here :p anyway...
bread talk? oh yeah that was like my breakfast, lunch and dinner when i was there (singapore) hehehe but i have to say they are expensive
oh copyright stuff? oh man it's so complicated i reckon, i mean not just here, in malaysia you have bread talk and bread story hahaha, then there's rotiboy and rotimama (it's like a bread with some special buttery paste inside, tastes nice, smells nice but it is sure fattening :p). And apparently in singapore they even copy the names again, i saw sweet talk, then i heard about some guy named his business rotipapa hahaha.... ok enough about this...
back to topic....
yakitate japan..., haven't watched it actually but from the first volume manga i saw, it reminded off a very old (~15 years ago) there was also an anime about this guy cooking a variety of things and there's even some kungfu move equivalent in cooking? hhhmmm i used to watch that way long ago and i dun even know the name >_< aarrrgghhh _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |

well this anime rocks!
i love it hehehehe
recommended to everyone!
if only there really was a bread that could cause you to make you have "reactions" equivalent to what you see in the anime.
XD |

Actually, a lot of the things in Yakitate!! Japan are researched and are based on real facts... of course, some things are just out of the world... but... that doesn't mean you can't synthesise your own reaction... like I have.
And also, I've tried La Maine de Desse (Goddess Hands) and like... I get real tired and my hands aren't as supple... of course this is most likely false...
But, it is true that if you have warmer hands, you apply direct heat to the yeast and therefore it ferments faster... and it IS true that your hands can be made more warmer through vigorous exercise...
Of course, it should be noted that your body still runs at a homeostatic temperature of about 37 degrees Celsius, so they're probably just generating more heat in the hands and releasing it faster than a normal person.

I wouldn't say that the curry is terrible, ive had some really good ones. The good stores are just hard to find. Just that most of them are really subpar to what we are used to here. _________________ God's In His Heaven. All's Right With The World.
