OMIGOODNESS!!! THE STAR OF THE NIGHT AND NO ONE TALkY HERE?

man alexey played heaps good last evening, it was so damn good. except for those odd mistakes lol. but it happens XD. some bits got a little blurry with the damper pedal.

The expression in his (music how he played,) was close to perfect. I say close, since he was like quite rigid, but thats just how he plays. Since all the expression was heard in the music, it made the mistakes easier to hear, but he kept playing as if there was nothing wrong (which of course is what you're supposed to do during a performance)

also i could hear the chair and one of the pedals squeaking. might wanna get that fixed =P

oh yeah, he's got a cool accent. speaking of accents, he certainly likes bashing the keys which my friend hates lol.

anyway, thanks for the wonderful job you did - i really enjoyed it =]

I really didn't mind the 'Key bashing'. It just gave the piece more emphasis and looked really cool since his hands moved so fast it was a blur. Truly he displayed emotion thorugh his piece which allowed me to lay back and listen and not have to watch unless it was one of those really dramatic pieces.
Quite funny how SOME ppl fought over Alexy's pen after he finished autographing. Aparently the auction went up for $100 but never got sold.

Aniwayz.. Congratualtions to all, espcially Alexy for his dramtic performance through his music

Alexey was maaaaaad last night! great performance.... yes he made mistakes but to have that many people focused on you, who wouldn't make mistakes?

He's human anyway, so for all you people who diss him out for making mistakes, CUT HIM SOME SLACK! I'd like to see you go up on stage and perform with that many pairs of eyes on you! THEN we'll see if u play with mistakes or not!

Aside from the mistakes, his performance last night was amazing! I kept in mind the thing about him not showing his emotions physically in my mind as he played and if you focus on the music played and not what the performer looks like, you can feel the feelings that Alexey was putting into the music.

Hehe, he was really nice when i asked him to sign my cd and the front cover of it, soem girls were standing around trying to get pics and Alexey's just like 'come up! come up!" hah!!

As andy said, his accet was really cool!! Smile

when aihiro and i were talking to aya-san, he came up and he talked for a bit and then said 'that's it! no more! lets go!' poor Alexey and all the staff... they looked really happy but dead tired at the end! psst, esp ken!

lols i wanted to ask them to sign the cds i bought as well, but i felt that would have been quite greedy.
