Has anyone played?
its sony's latest game. Just started playing today. Its pretty good so far 
done by the same team as ICO. ALTHOUGH i haven't played ICO. i do desperately wanna play. 
and there are zillions of good reviews for both games 
I mean, what can be better than fighting huge bosses in order to revive a girl from death, yet not knowing who the heck she is; but why she is so important, Welll i have yet to find out. :p

I figured not many would have played this game, since it isn't really released in australia yet. Darn.
But nonetheless, i'm going to ramble a bit since i've completed the game.
Imported. Yes.
So spoilers ahead -> everything to do with the ending.
so read if you want... i just wanna ramble and hopefully someone who's actually played might understand what i'm saying..
SO
......
FIRST OF ALL
When Agro fell, i sat straight up and said "shit shit shit" and was teary.. for all i know i might've had a few tear drops. T_T T_T I read somewhere, another player did what i did, except he was like "F***"
one of the saddest moments in a game wahh~
was thinking about jumping down as well, but realised theres not much of a point in that hahah.. that was how attached i was to agro T_T T_T
AND I JUST FOUND OUT that you could actually pat him... man. All that time i could've patted him i didnt. (my favourite animal -> horse)
SECONDLY. ENDING ->
OMG. hmmmmmmmm i've never played ICO, but from some of the other comments i've seen, a lot of players seem to connect the two games. the horned baby. etc. and Mono , is apparently the white witch??
Well like i siad, havne't played ICO, so I dont quite wanna think that way, as in.. think that the girl would be evil. no way. he did all that for an evil girl??
Who is the baby? I believe its Wander. I think that's his name. O_O
However, what I DIDDDDDDDDN"T LIKE. iS OMG. HOW SAD CAN IT GET. when he was stabbed with the sword and reaching for her... and . he never got to her. T_T She never once saw him... not even once. Man. She didn't know that he did all that for her. Gahhhhh, And now they're going to have a mother-son relationship. *sigh*
As much as we all know that he deserved to be punished for what he did... at least let them interact at least once haha...
It was sad how they let us control him a bit, like when he was flying towards that twirly wind thing... I grabbed onto the steps for a while.
Well I am happy that Agro is actually alive. What a smart horse, after that fall, just a broken leg apparently haha.
Welps! Its quite a good game. Yes yes
After playing the first 3 or 4 colossus, i got a bit bored from it being repetitive, but i missed it and then i continued playing. |

learning how to control our hero was the hardest
i got pass the first boss and then.........i gave up...

ICO is getting an Austrlaian Release. It is expected for release on the 16 of Feb in a platinum edition. I'm not sure what this means - hopefully not the usual PS2 platinum titles. I think it deserves a bit of respect. EG. Superspecial Limited Edition!
Feb is a very expensive month *grumbles* |

controlling the character, i didn't find too hard but i thought it was really good, the movements etc and i loved fights where i could work with agro
how cool is riding the horse at full speed and using the bow and arrow at the same time.. wahh~~ kakkoiiiii~~~~
oh ICO was released in australia before, quite a while ago.
its being re-released didn't know it was going to be a platinum version though...
haha brain work. well yeh i did *cough* go to gamefaqs.com sometimes haha |

I actually hired it out and gave it a go, so why dont you just do that?
VERY impressive game. Absolutely stunning scenery and bosses.
I wouldnt buy it though - you can finish it quickly if you know where to find the collossi since most of your time is spent doing just that
You can finish it (with help from faqs - finding those collossi I mean) in like 4-5 days with moderate non addicted playtime:P
Believe me its worth a look at

I just finished it.
All I can say is, YAY AGRO!!
and...Our hero was being used the whole time...ok ok
I got pretty annoyed that they didnt end up together in the end...as adults..or..whatever
The baby? Its him right? So technically speaking hes still alive And theyre living in the cursed lands all happy and bla bla
Then I go and look at this ICO trailer - No connection at all Im assuming, even though Ive read there might be..I just dont see it though. The whole plot is different.
Great game, hard mode or not I wouldnt buy it but hey, thats me |

I suggest we keep this thread purely about the game and not about how to acquire it without purchasing it.
We dont want to associate eminence, its staff and its fans with illegal activity as there could (it most likely wont) be legal ramifications especially with a company (related to games and media) involved.
This means no talk of emulation, especially about a game that is still being sold. |

i just finished normal mode last month without using walkthrough *yeah*..the total game time was 10 hours i think....
now...i'm still trying to beat the game in hard mode and get the bonus item in time attack mode.... |

| how much are ps2's these days (new of coarse)? I've been thinking of buying one just to play all the good rpg games. Wii games are coming out too slowly =( |
