Okay guys here's the deal. So we have an indicator about what you wanna hear over and over and over and over and over.... again. I have created this thread for what you would like to be on the ANIF05 cd.
Rules:
- Just cause every single one of you requests a song, doesn't meant it will make it onto the cd. Thanks to copyright and distribution laws, and the limitation of audio cd recording time.
- Remember just cause you you maybe sick of a song or dislike it, it still maybe other ppl who enjoy it. So play nice with the other kids, and dont make me turn this car around.
Otherwise it's free reign... |

I'm confused
I thought the ANIF05 CD would have all the tracks played at ANIF05?
Or is that not feasible? <<< Scrap that, just read the other posts. Obviously space and copyright limits it...my bad
Ok, my CD is a gift for someone who is a Gran Turismo nut
So Im dying to have Moon Over the Castle in there
They are dying for that track
Thanks (: |

I second that vote for Moon Over The Castle. Not only am I a fan of the game (it - ok, GT3 at the time! - was one of the main reasons I bought my PS2), but it's such a short piece of music that I would like to see it squeezed in.
From a performance perspective, I found that hearing this piece live with the Eminence orchestra, choir and vocalist all at full noise was just simply fan-bloody-tastic!!
Pity that it really is just a bit short, but oh well, can't have everything hehe. Thanks. |

I don't think you could really go past...
Hikari from Kingdom Hearts
Life's Merry Go Round from Howl's Moving Castle
The Oath by Nobuo Uematsu
One Winged Angel from FF:AC

I think there are a few which should definitely be on the cd. Whether they actually are because of copyright issues is another matter entirely, but that said, I think everything should be done to get One Winged Angel, Super Mario Bros & Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda Main Theme and War Drum from Princess Mononoke.
I also would not be opposed to getting the main theme from Metal Gear Solid 2 on there. Everyone keeps talking about the drums drowning out the other instruments, but that problem certainly didn't exist to my ears. Perhaps because I was in the front row, I don't know. But the audio would have been captured from a similarly good vantage point I would imagine, so perhaps it isn't as bad in the recorded audio also.
Hikari, The Oath and Believe would also be worthy additions.
Also, I just remembered, Dance of Curse. It skipped my mind because it was the encore and not in the programme, but it was fantastic and I would absolutely adore it being on the CD. |

Well clearly you haven't heard the original, believe me, the version at ANIF05 made me cry. |

same!!! but i've heard the original 'believe' and but i think that the performance at ANIF05 was better.... i think there's too many elements in the original believe and i liked being able to hear the drums at the concert |

| Err, no way. I meant cry as in it was horrible. The drums, similarly as in the Metal Gear Solid 2 theme were far too loud and a tad out of time in this case. Being far too big a fan of Tsubasa Chronicle I wasn't impressed. |

i don't think i really noticed the drums that much...in metal gear solid i knew they were too loud because i couldnt heard the strings or anything else for that matter.
in believe i did hear the main melody quite well, so i did enjoy it a lot =P (I was pretty much right infront of the drums too, second row)
slightly off track here, but is the series tsubasa chronicle good? |

well i'd sorta agree with nephtis
the drums were a lil too loud.
but it was no where as bad as mgs. so it was still quite okay
rurouni kenshin was the same as mgs though. couldn't hear anything at all.
tsubasa chronicle has really nice music. but i thought the series was..... well boring.
and thanks to the music i actually watched it..interestingly.. |

I would rip the album to my computer and delete that track entirely. |

Sadly not... though there was a Destiny'05.
Now, or so it seems, Piano Stories, Destiny and ANIF are all in Melbourne this year as well... |
