Jusst Wondering if there's possibility that eminence could take on J-Drama OST to be played during concert as well ?

Excellent idea, also include main themes from Japanese movie theme, eg Love letter, Be with you etc..

J Hisaishi, did you know that the real Joe composed for some huge movie in japan last dec...?

oooo, there was a piece which hiro played at one of the concerts at the con last year which was used in the j-drama, orange days!!!
I forgot which piece it was though.... very nicely played btw!! =]
damn.. that first sentance was so long! XD oops.. |

but without the performer seen the deama or the movie, they will never can perform well with feeling. Like the last PS...quiet few music was performed without knowing what the music was wrote for (as in the actual movie eg Summer). Its more like making a speech with prescripted sentences. Please dont get me wrong, I am not trying to compare Joe Hisaishi with Alexey.

Hmm...yeh, I'd like to see Eminence branching out and performing some other music besides the usual ff and Joe Hisaishi pieces. Don't get me wrong, I do love the music being played now, but... just imagine the market out there! Jdrama/pop/Cpop/Kdrama/Kpop would rope in a fair number of people who may be put off by the 'anime & gaming music' reference that's attached to the concerts atm.

Seph: how difficult would it to ask for permission from asian-drama music authors and play it in australia?
