Tickets are currently on sale through Easytix, located at Melbourne Town Hall. They will be available online, but Easytix must first correct errors on their page for us. We will let you know as soon as possible when their online system is ready.

But as I said, feel free to rock up to Melbourne Town Hall to purchase tickets.

The EasyTix box office is located in the Melbourne Town Hall on Swanston St in the city.

I actually found it quite confusing to buy them! hehehe Finding the right ticket I mean.

And I am still confused to what is actually considered 'consession'. My sister is 14 and so is her friend, are they automaically accepted as consession or do I need proof?

they would need proof,

usually a school ID card

here at nsw, i think 16 is when you actually have "concession" cards

Anyway to your question 14s, would be considered a "child" which suffices as a concession, though you need age proof to show that

hopefully a student ID card, photo, is enough,

i.e <9th grade at school

Concession is a student or a pension discount. Obviously children too, but we're talking about primary school aged kids (who obviously wouldn't have a student card) But anyone who's 14 legally has to go to school in Victoria right? Therefore they'll have a student card. Unless for some reason they're at primary school...
Cool

Put it this way, student will need to bring their cards, so will pensioners. The only people who get away with it are children of primary school age because they don't have cards. Makes sense right? It's the same as when you go to the movies, it's just easier if people ask everyone rather than at random for I.D.

Eminence always reserves the right to charge full price admission for people who don't bring proof of concession, and that's that. So bring it just in case.

Okay! Crisis over.

I asked my sister if she had a student card with a photo on it and she said no. Hence the panic, since then I have asked about 'library cards' and it has clicked that she does have a student card. heheheeh kids ...

Yeah my high school's ID was a really dodgy library card made out of thin green cardboard and laminated. Plus unless you lost it you could theroratically have the same card form year 7 right through to year 12, therefore looking weird when you present it for discounts.
Cool
