Yep, a likely problem could be that you're missing the codec needed to view the file (Windows Media Video V9), or else the file got corrupted during the download.

Well....do Macs come with the WMV codec by default? Methinks not....so it's also possible that it didn't work cos Athira has a Mac.

Oh...wait, doesn't Fan of Jacky have a Mac (laptop) also? Don't hear him saying that it didn't work for him.

But Jacky Fan is A/V king, I doubt he'd have simple codec problems.

BOTH machines don't like the file?? In that case the prob is likely to be with the file. Rename or delete the file, and re-download it. Double check it's file lengths are:

ghibliteaserlow 3,382,688 bytes
ghibliteaserwmv 8,250,388 bytes

By the way, on the PC you should have at least Windows Media Player 9 installed.

The file won't play in Winamp either... just to let you know.

But it works fine in WMP.

If you can play a .avi file in WMP and not Winamp, your codecs are well, broken. That and the fact that I hate Winamp, but anyway.

Sounds pretty much to be "Legend of Ashitaka" from Princess Mononoke. Eminence performed it at A Night in Fantasia 2004.

Thanks! I must say I've never heard any music from Priness Mononoke. Can't wait for this year's ANIF.
