Hey andrewsvan88,
the ANIF05 cd is currently 90% done
Jacky (our dvd guy) is adding more footage for the CD so it can reign above all other CDs as "the best of A Night in Fantasia and Eminence", so it will certainly be worth the wait =D |

Ah... my friend was wondering why last year's CD wasn't available this year (we went last year and loved it).
I'll have to let her know about this. |

| it was cursed because the performance at anif05 was astoundingly great and all the mystical spirits are causing havoc so that the customers become more and more eager to re-live the night once again. |

Wow, fair enough. I know ANIF05 is a sore spot for you guys and I understand completely. To be honest, I think I speak for the majority of the pre-order customers when I say that I don't mind this wait as I certainly know it will be worth it and I appreciate every effort Eminence has made for music lovers in general. The opportunity you have given to spark the interest in concert music for anime and video game fans is cherished by everyone of us - Such an opportunity is so rare and splendid in the modern age of music from your hip pocket/iPod. I personally can't tell you how grateful I am and how much I appreciate what Eminence has done for us. It's particularly special, given how forgotten Australia is in the world of video games/anime.
That said, I bear no ill-will or dissatisfaction in the Eminence team. I can't comprehend how much frustration you've gone through for it must be immense - that I can appreciate. It must be so aggravating getting this product knocked around back and forth so many times. I really respect how personally and professionally you guys are handling it and for that I give my thanks. I'm sorry that I seem to be one of the nagging customers! Let's face it - I'm much happier with waiting a few more weeks rather than getting a defective product in the mail (the latter case seems to be most common with a certain Australian DVD publisher that specialises in anime that will be left unnamed *coughcough*). Thanks very much for the update and hang in there! 一緒にがんばってね! |

I am still waiting for my ANIF 05 CD.
I was informed that it will be delivered to us by Mid Dec 05, then Jan 06 which would have been fine with me.
NOW it is March 2007 and I still haven't recieved my CD yet and I am wondering what on earth is going on!!!
This is a REALLY REALLY bad service!
And it makes me think that Eminence not trustworthy!
Because of this bad service, I don't think I will be bothered to attend ANY concerts that Eminence produces this year!!!
This is just outrageous!!! |

Dear shmukdan,
Would you believe that the ANIF05 DVD/CD pack is finally here at our merchandising department, and it is in the process of being packaged for shipping?
Would you believe that we have had setback after setback in getting it printed and produced? All of which was frustratingly out of our control.
Would you believe that we almost gave up on it because everything seemed to work against us in getting this product out?
Would you believe that after nearly one and a half years this item is now finally ready for shipping?
I totally sympathise and absolutely agree that this has been the most difficult product to wait for. We are truly sorry that this ever happened. We are also sorry that you are disappointed with our 'service', and that you no longer wish to attend any of our concerts this year. It is unfortunate, as this year's concert is actually the biggest and most ambitious yet, with several major composers from Japan attending and support from Sony Playstation 3, among others.
If you no longer trust Eminence or have any faith in what we do, then there isn't anything we can do to change your mind. We don't have any excuses, simply because none would probably suffice nor would you likely accept.
We just hope that once people receive their ANIF05 DVD/CD pack, they consider that we had to pick up a project that a previous team didn't complete, we had to see it through to completion, regardless of the setbacks and issues, and then made sure that our previous commitments would be honoured. We respect the fact that many people have been waiting so patiently (and silently) for us to get to this point, and for that we are deeply grateful.
shmukdan, I thank you for your strong and candid feedback as it is a stark reminder of what we stand to face if we disappoint our fans, audience and customers.
Therefore, it is unlikely that we will ever aim to produce a DVD again. This is the one and only project. We have learned our lesson the hard way.
Nevertheless we always want to give our audiences more, as this is what we are about. Rest assured that we are working very hard on our upcoming A Night In Fantasia 2007 concert, and for those of you who are thinking of attending, we assure you that you will NOT be disappointed! With our signature concerts we KNOW we can satisfy audiences. Our track record proves that. We look forward to presenting this next performance with great enthusiasm! |

mad dude,
The thing is we have provided a postal address when we paid for the product. If there is some internal problem then i think there should have been an explaination to the customers.
Although problems may have been out of your control, I do not understand why we couldn't have been informed through the mail about this technical difficulty. We have provided the organisation our postal address and im sure most of us would have understood the delays better if there was a personal letter.
As you said, 'some people are waiting patiently and silently', i think that being silent would not allow Eminence to grow to be a better organisation. Without our input, our thoughts and suggestions would Eminence improve? And without improvement, do you think there would be more people wanting to learn about Eminence?
Also, i did not know about the difficulties the organisation has been through until recently.
Im sure the upcoming concerts would be really great, this is not about the concert itself, it is the responsibility that the organisation should have and with good responsibility, i think we would respect you more for your service.
Finally, I strongly think that the quality of service can be a little better so we can feel that we have been cared for it i just little things like this that makes a big difference |

shmukdan, most of the points you stated is valid in its own right.

As a company we have to take feedback in all its forms, whether good or bad.
However as a group of people dedicated to serving a niche market within Australia, we value ANY feedback greatly.
Feedback is the greatest tool to not only improve what we do, but to learn how we are seen and more importantly, ensure that we are providing what we aim so hard to give you all.
The posts above from our staff speak the minds of us all, and we are very sorry it took so long for this product to be completed.
For anyone who believes they can no longer trust our group, and/or will no longer attend our concerts, I am saddened. Without the support we receive, Eminence would simply cease to be. As the individual responsible for bringing Eminence to Melbourne I can assure you I want nothing more than to spread this music to as many people as I can. However, if in the process we are turning people away from us our goals are clearly not being met.
A Night in Fantasia 2007: Symphonic Games Edition promises to be our greatest concert and achievement ever. We are working furiously to ensure every aspect of the concert goes flawlessly. Keeping this in mind, I extend an invitation to those of you who no longer appreciate our group and our ideals to come along for one last try.
We've come so far since 2003, growing our fanbase and more importantly influencing a niche market which would otherwise be left in the dark. Growing in the area that we provide is no easy task I can assure you all, but we do it for you guys.
I can't make people attend ANIF07:SGE, but I would like you to attend to give us a final chance. See us for what we have become, how we have grown and what we have come so far to try and achieve. We are an extremely passionate group of people who believe in what we do, and hope we can please our audience.
As previously stated, should you still choose to leave us, that is your decision. We shall remain until we are not wanted, and until then we will do everything to the best of our efforts to meet our audience's expectations.
On behalf of Eminence I thank all of you who have waited for the ANIF05 DVD/CD pack, and thank every person who has provided feedback (good and bad) to us over the years. Through our surveys and this forum board, we can learn our faults as well as our strengths, and work to improve the situation based on the assessment of the fans as well as internal discussion.
I hope to see many of you at the Melbourne performance of A Night in Fantasia 2007: Symphonic Games Edition, as I am very excited to gauge the reaction of concert-goers to our biggest event yet... |

Would it be at all possible on to get a rough estimate on when the latest we should receive our cd/dvd pack will be? I live in WA, and ordered this when I travelled to Sydney specifically for the ANIF05 concert. Now that I hear it's finally finished and shipping, I'm getting anxious to get and watch it. |

For those of you awaiting their copies of pre-ordered ANIF05, the DVD/CD pack is currently being packaged and labelled for shipping. We are also making arrangements with Australia Post for bulk postage services. This is all expected to hopefully be completed within the next two weeks, and then delivery will occur.
Actual delivery times will then be subject to standard Australia Post schedules.
We'll post an update here when shipping actually occurs. |
