I want to know what the most typical things u know that makes up a typical Viet (meaning evrything). I'll start off:
1. You've gone to Cabramatta 10+ times
2. You at least know where Cabramatta is.
3. You've eaten pho
4. You know what 'Paris by Night' is coz ur parents watch that shite
5. Your last name ends in Nguyen (takes up 3 or 4 pages in Yellow Pages)
6. You or one of your family members or relatives drives a souped-upped sports car (usually Skylines, Supras and etc.. . . )
7. You belong to 5t (hehehe, no offence to any1 on this forum who's actually in 5t)

any more suggestions? i wanna hear the most hilarious suggestions as possible, and maybe someone else start ones on other nations like Korea or Japan or China or Sri Lanka or Cambodia or Thailand or Fiji or Australia or Singapore or Taiwan or Europe or . . . . . .

"-_-" whats so funny abt a bird?

Oh! wait a minute! Like duh! *sigh*, it doesnt sound like the you-know-the-dirty-word-that-it-supposedly-resembles.

On another note can somebody please close this thread, coz i kinda regret putting it up, i was in a state of semi-conciousness when i did this, so, yeah. And im like proud of my nationality but i hate the whole azn pride thing (just my own opinion!).

On another note, you should check out the movie called "Footy Legends" coz it was directed by a Viet guy Khoa Do and stars his brother Anh Do! but if u dont like footy then dont watch it ( idont know many viets who like footy), but it sure is worth checking out coz Anh Do is a funny comedian.

Sorry to bump this but... that just brought a whole new meaning to "gym"

That reminds me, there was one time my brother asked what it meant to be "gay". I told him it meant to be a stick/tree... as in, cay chanh.

'gay' is something along the lines of 'dong tinh luyen ai', but most of my other viet friends dont even know what that even means so i dont bother sayin it. Anyway, u got any problems with viet words, dont come to me coz im pretty crap at knowing all the dirty and swear words, just the main ones like 'du me may' and etc. . . .
