Let me start off saying that the Eminence Orchestra is unbelievable, which is the reason why I feel so compelled to really pick apart how the orchestra markets itself.

1. Improve the site:
-Offer more information on the orchestra itself. When I click on the band info I only see 3 musicians out of 50.
-The media section has 3 YouTube videos. That's it. That's so sad. I don't see any CD listings, any other previews of songs, any discography, nothing. I see 3 Youtube videos. I highly recommend that the media section be updated. List ALL the songs you guys perform, list all the CDs you've made, and give many more previews of songs, because unless you do that, the CDs will NOT sell.

2. Market the CDs better.
-Under the section to buy things, I see 3 CDs listed, for about 22 bucks a piece. That's a price I'm willing to pay... IF I knew anything about the CDs. This site does not provde me with samples or a discography like I mentioned above.
-This isn't the only thing though. When I look at the events section, I see LOADS and LOADS of events. I see A Night in Fantasia 06, lots of Piano Solos, and this new Passion event coming out. Why aren't there any CDs for these? I'm DYING to hear A Night in Fantasia 06 but there's nothing that allows me to do so.

These two things I think are huge. Because right now, this site simply tells us that you're an orchestra, and not much else. I know the band is based in Australia, but the real markets are much more spread out across the world. I live in America, and I don't know anything about Eminence. Before I buy the CDs, and spread word around about you guys, I want to know that there's more information to view.

Thats it ^_^

First of all thank you very much for supporting the Eminence Group. Your view and suggestions are much needed in order to continue to improve what we do. I believe you are speakinbg out for many other Eminence supporters out there and your words will be heard and acted upon. Not immediately but definitely gradually in the coming year.

Thanks again, keep the good suggestions coming Smile

I'll get right on it Wink

Also check out the Eminence Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eminence_Symphony_Orchestra
It has some info not featured on the site. I'll get people to add it to the main site as well...

I think the site just needs to be updated. I've seen things in the programs but they are just not on the website. I think even if you guys are too busy with other eminence duties, or just busy, just copy that info into the site (e.g. CD info). At least so that people who didn't go to the concerts can see what they missed out on! Especially seeming the Passion concert programs were free, it really wouldn't hurt to post that info up. But I do understand if you post info in the ANIF programs then people may not buy them.

Also, when is there going to be more info about the ANIF07s? Im really looking forward to it.

I do understand Eminence is relatively new company, and many of the staff are young and may not have much experience in the entertainment industry. I do not mean that as a "you guys are bad" comment, actually I mean the opposite. It's really great that such a young company can function as it does now. Even if not all aspects of it are polished "proffesional."

Keep up the good work Wink

In actual fact, I have been slowly working on a wealth of information to add to the website. I won't even go into how much stuff I have planned, but as to when it would go online I cannot say. There's no point in adding things bit by bit, as it is unprofessional and strange. After compiling the information together I will have to talk to the web developers to work out how it will fit into the website, but don't worry it will happen.

I agree with you entirely about the lack of information, it is the reason I began working on it all well before any member of the public suggested it. Nonetheless I appreciate your comments as it shows me that people do indeed want more.

Thank you.

Edit: I should point out that our merchandise page has been updated. You are able to hover over an item to see a description, and click for a sample track.
