Howl's Moving Castle music was on during ANIF2004! And Destiny to my knowledge...
Yes, I saw the film when it came out last Thursday, it was very good. Colourful, vibrant, young female protagonist, it's all there, it's all Miyazaki.
I just realised while watching the making of Spirited Away today that the day he dies is going to be quite the crappy day. I mean Tezuka died, but I wasn't really into anime, being 2 at the time and all. Miyazaki has one academy awards, and now the Golden Bear at Venice, he'll be a sorely missed man one day...
(Not to dampen the thread, but man it's a big whoa thing!) _________________

Pom Poko is pretty cute, The Yamadas animation is pretty cool, and the story is pretty funny too. They're family is so whacko!
Yeah... i cry everytime i watch Grave of the Fireflies... The last time i watched it i basically sniffled from the start to the end my sister made fun of me...
oh! and The Cat Returns is really cute too, it came out in 2001 so it has really good animation as well _________________

grave of fireflies, i'd say 10/1, one of the rare animes where it really grabs you and moves you into tears..... enough said, see it and you'll know what i mean...
[off topic]
the only other one that moved me to tears is "the march of penguins" the french version, ok i'm a lame guy |

Howl's moving Castle was good

whoops yeah, i meant howl moving castle, hhhmmm the internet eh.... yeah they are convinient but i'm still in the stone age ya know, i dunno why i never have the condifedence to purchase stuff over the internet, it's always fear of hackers and stuff. Then there's the trick of cheap goods but expensive delivery fee Xp
oh and i saw a book on how they sketched the characters and story plot down at kinokuniya and i have to say wow they are very very detailed on what they are doing, and at the same time keeping things original by drawing by hands but then sweetening things up digitally _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |

You mean the storyboards?
Both my howls moving castle and spirited away dvds have storyboards as special features. The Spirited Away one has a side by side comparison with the storyboard and the final film. _________________

yeah, delivery is a bit expensive, altho, alround, might be better than getting it from here, unless it's made here....
like final fantasy osts, in the shops they're around $100+ but online altogether, it might only cost u $70... _________________ Concinnity

Honestly, from the beginning to end, it was a great watch, although i was extremely disappointed and annoyed when the turnip head man had to go and ruin the whole escapde for me, by saying this really corny moral
".. some people change.." or something along those lines... |
