You could try the website if you haven't already. ^^;; but I realise that stuff needs to be updated... we're gradually (slowly) getting things together... revamping the website's on the (urgent) to do list. =)

You could also collect bits and pieces like our flyers and brochures which contain a bit of information or purchase paid programs... there should be one this ANIF and there was a really nice one last year.

Anyway, I haven't been a member that long so I don't really know any more than what we've got out there.

basically seraph is the founder (i think also the most experienced of all) according to my understanding. Hell... seeing eminence's staff enjoying successful music career always makes me regret of not taking music lessons when i was a kid Sad

O_o ?? do you mean Seraph is the founder of the eminence forums or of eminence itself? Cos that would mean that Seraph is Hiroaki Yura, wouldn't it??

Yeah.

From what I understand, Eminence (infinity8lue) was started up to introduce classical/orchestral music to a younger audience by holding anime/games concerts, so people like us have the chance to appreciate classical music by experiencing it at these concerts. Also it aims to promote the musicians and getting their names out there.

And then there was Hiro thinking "wouldn't it be awesome to have a Final Fantasy orchestral concert?" and making it happen.

To my knowledge, technically Infinity8LUE was the company name that organised the concerts. When I was coming into the scene, Infinity8LUE was 'presenting' Eminence. Then I gather that the orchestra's name is better to sell, so here we are.

Again, this is to the best of my knowledge. (Which isn't the best)

Infinity8LUE didn't 'die' it got phased out in favour of the Eminence name. It makes sense to have one organisation, if you are going to try and promote the orchestra, you may as well use their name. The staff of Infinity8LUE simply kept doing what they were already doing and became a part of Eminence.

I found out about Eminence via mention of infinity 8blue
The whole eminence thing is a fantastic concept
Good to be getting more people into classical
At anif 06, I had 3 of the 4 people with me who had no idea where all the music came from but they LOVED it. We had front section centre seats so we could literally see the talent
Glad you guys started the whole thing, keep em coming:)

True I guess, but just because something is 'fine the way it is' doesn't mean there's no room for improvement!
