hahahhah ^^;; you wish you were a chick so you can try their host club? XD that's the funniest thing I've read all morning.
SMASH is a new anime convention. They've proposed heaps of events - they're still seeing if there's enough interest to actually hold the events so not everything seems concrete but they've put a lot of work into it so far and it seems definite that it will be held in August 18th this year.
It's made by a hand full of individuals who are part of the Aussie manga/comic/artist scene... (Katie Huang/Poshua who publishes Generations annually) along with other staff... so it's really aimed at artists/creative audience but also fans.
It's going to be held at UNSW Roundhouse.

what kicks ass is... it's really cheap! (door - $12, preregister - $9)
I'm just really really curious if the guys doing host club can pull it off. XD hahaha... I'm going because of that. (And maybe because of the singing comp! - Kouhaku.)
I have my doubts about Host Club because I don't believe anyone can pull it off that easily. Well, I've got a bf so... I can't really try it out. :/ I'll just watch. XD

Hahah yay! More interest in the host club.
Poshua/Kaitie was saying it's HAPPENING because she'll be heartbroken if it doesn't. XD so yay!
Uhm.. anyone... wanna sing? =D in a singing contest. Looking for at least 3 guys and 1 girl.
Aww... poor melbourne people. Well... They don't make a lot of profit out of this unfortunately. =/ So... they need 2000 people to attend this year in order to fund next year's event. ^^;; and they're sorta like, "haha fat chance." So........ I'm trying to let as many people know about it as I can.
rofl... I REALLY wonder if guys that can pull of host club really exist. in SYDNEY.

Yay! Eminence will probably have a table at SMASH selling stuff!
At first I thought the maid cafe idea was too crazy but they've expanded on it and added Host Club and got it organised, so I'm looking forward to it! |
