Last Year's Project: QUICKTIME | YOUTUBE
This year I'm embarking on a very ambitious 2D cel animation. I'm on the look out for some voice talent (particularly keen for Australians. Even more keen for Sydney-residents.) If you're interested or know anyone who might be interested, please give it a go!

Searching for voice actors for:
Nuru (13-year-old male)
Karin (6-year-old female)
Soldier (male in his 20's)
Radio (one-liner middle-aged, gender unspecified)
Citizens of Agharti (one-liners, age unspecified, gender unspecified)

Sorry, I probably won't be able to pay you cuz I'm a struggling student. ~.~ So I'm probably looking for students trying to build their acting portfolios or anyone who just wants to experience voice acting for fun. I'll also send you a free copy once I make the package. (It'll have to be next year though.)
If you live in Sydney, that's a bonus cuz you won't have to worry about sound quality. I'll just need to borrow a day or two (some time in June-August) to record. Otherwise, you'll have to send the files to my email in mp3s. Sorry, I'll have to be picky with sound quality.

Mate I'd love to have a go (not sure what I could do though ... hmm) but I've got no mic at the moment!!

naw, not the same menchi. ^^; I'm katakami on vaa. =)
I may have a Nuru voice actor........ and he's got a very unusual accent. If you're having a stab at Karin's lines, drop me a line and I'll send you a sample of Nuru so you can have a go to match his accent. I do have pretty good candidates for Karin though. But I will still accept auditions for the final animation.
Other than that, I'd be interested in any females who want to do a few one liners for the citizen lines. Got heaps of guys. =/ If you live in sydney, let me know when you send samples if you're worried about sound quality so I know we can just meet up one day and do some recording. =) |
