Looks like our old friend Nomura-san's secret has been revealed a little early...
Namely, DISSIDIA: FINAL FANTASY, to be released to the PSP. So far, the only solid info is that it is a 'progressive action game' (fancy wording for a mission-based action game, a la Dirge of Cerberus), and features character designs, and some story input from Tetsuya Nomura himself. As can be told by the logo, a certain Yoshitaka Amano has taken the reigns.
Although the game won't be officially unveiled until May 17, speculation has already arisen that this game will use Nomura's interpretations of many classic Final Fantasy characters, as well as some of his own new ones. Most notable on the speculated cast is FF9's Zidane, and more are expected to star.

So aparently Dissidia wasnt going to be a Fabula Nova Cystallis title but something entirely new...

Dont expect anything new untill after the square enix party...
The logo is very diferent and intresting... here we see what I belive to be is shiva and ifrit together... perhaps fighting each other... we dont know this,
looks promising...
Im kinda glad actually since now I wont be buying a PSP for Crisis Core and The 20 Aneversarys of FFI and FFII...
I'll post more news on it... expect heaps at the Sqaure Enix Party May 17th..
Ok maybe expect alot... theres way more besides dissidia being anounced =]

Looks like a beat-em-up with Final Fantasy All stars...
I have thought about doing this before... never in my dreams did I think it would be made...
Funny this is that its not the Sqaure Enix Party yet... so we havnt seen much...
I dont belive this will sell as well as the other FF's if its a beat em up this looks more like fan treatment...
Which reminds me I still havnt played FFIX =[ |

Bah! I better get a PSP!
Weird that they're moving away from the classic FF-type of game, and it's starting to remind me of Tekken instead. |

Nah they keeping with the main thing, think of it as fan treatment... every now and then one might feel like this. |

Sorry for all the mass double posting, if its unwanted I will gladly stop.
And yet the plot thickens, I also just checked its site out and it seems theres nothing new on it yet.
I still cant wait for this... chances are I will Japan inport this if I can hack and slash other FF hero's with sephy =]
Also after quickly checking S-E Japans site theres a new game added to it, Last Remnant, its seems to be having a Japan/Us Release at the same time.
Aparently its US site has an age check... and yes blood =] |
