Hehehe too technical?
To answer your question though, they had a mix of animation and shots of the orchestra on screen. The best bit was when they played the super mario songs and on screen, showed one of the AV guys playing mario.
(here is mario dying!) |

i can only take about 380 photos onto my memory card (max settings). Thats about 3gb of photos right there.. Now I could get a portable hard drive for more storage... but hey guys, money doesnt grow on trees in my backyard. And I dont really need one of those yet - portable hard drives I mean. I could do with a money tree.
|
i wanted to buy one of those harddrive once, but then i thought.....mmm....with that price tag, i could just buy a few more memory cards!!!!
beside, u can't do much with those hardrive (at least the one i looked at)
i was thinking, if u own a laptop, and assuming u have a card reader, why not just transfer the photos to it??? ok.....but then u will have to carry a laptop around with u...

I know the D70 can take up to 3 frames/second for up to 12 images, but.... that is... pushing it slightly
|
so you use a D70!!!!!!

The disadvantage with shooting with smaller aperture is that you need a lot more time for enough light to expose the film/digital camera's CCD. Which can result in motion blur = blurry photos anyways!
So you have to strike a balance basically!
|
i guess it's time for a tripod!!!
u had a tripod with u in Destiny, right???[/quote] |

Yep I use a D70
And yeah, my friend Menchi had a tripod at Destiny, which I did get to use for a bit, but I found that it was a bit tough carrying it around and trying to not get in anyone's way.
Plus, usually the issue isn't the camera shake (I can always lean on a pole), but actual motion blur.... those musicians move pretty fast!! And it's hard to get them in focus.
If I'm not careful, all of my photos will turn out like this! (from Destiny)
See how it is in focus mostly.... but because the musicians are moving so fast, there is motion blur!
Looks kind of cool I guess... but not so helpful when you actually want to see their faces |

Things that control the amount of light that are adjustable by the photographer = size of hole (aperture), duration of exposure (shutter speed), sensitivity of sensor (iso).
The photographer has to choose a combination of these to get the image exposed correctly so nothing is blown out (too bright) or too dark.
The aperture also controls how much is in focus - sure you set the focus point, but you can also set how much stuff behind of infront of the focus point, is in focus.
Like this photograph here
See how the first celloist is in focus, and the focus gradually disappears, and you can say the bassist is out of focus.
On the night, I had my aperture set to F/2.8 (small F number = big hole) and iso set to 800. I let the camera figure out a shutter speed to correctly expose the pic. _________________

yesyes!!!
i can understand the mechanism behind shutter speed and iso
but it's the aperture which i still have trouble with

100% support and probably a wallpaper with 1 musician in each with their name written by their side, hhhmmmm sounds cool, but make sure you get the musician's approval first! _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |
