ahhaha i believe everyone would love the old school classical neon genesis evangelion theme song...like come on people i know youll love it!
my suggestions would definitely be:
Opening Theme - Evangelion
Fly Me To The Moon - Evangelion
Rei's Theme - Evangelion
Metal Gear Solid 2 Theme - would definitely like to here this with a more accurate balance of sound rahter than the drums booming it up.
Grandpa's Violin - Yuki Kajiura - .hack//Liminality - this i would LOVE to hear, for those who have not heard it, please do download it and youll understand what i mean. Hiro would definitely have to do a solo for this piece because its just beautiful
Before Dawn - Yuki Kajiura - .hack//Sign - another solo piece but piano. My friends this is the last two is definitely a must, please do download it haha.
Suteki Da Ne - FFX - i would love the violin solo version, which is sung in korean, like theres a bit where theres a short violin solo. Rikki wouldn't HAVE to come, i would just love to hear the instruments by it self really, haha iPod/MP3 just don't sound the same as a real life orchestra.
Just a few i would love to hear although im sure i have alot more that i would love to hear such as more Final Fantasy and definitely the Quarlets by Joe Hisashi, which did depress me as i couldn't find and download them on the internet. Would love to hear "Two of Us", "Summer", and "794BDH", i remember because i still have the programme lol. Would love to hear "Guess How Much I Love You" - Yuki Kajiura - Tsubasa Chronicle.
I wouldn't mind the list right now, gives me a solid idea whats going to be played and get my blood pumped up and probably die because i wouldn't be able to wait to hear some of the pieces lol.[/b] _________________ digiart::productions

If The Black Mages were to come to Australia, that would completely rock my world. *hint* *hint*
While we're suggesting... just thought I'd put in a good word for Tsubasa Chronicle's "Song of Storm and Fire". It's my favourite piece by Kajiura, and if the whole choir were to come in and sing this piece... I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one going nuts, right? |

You know what? I've been thinking to have a performance, made by Eminence themselves. The pieces will still from Studio Ghibli, Final Fantasy, etc. But perhaps you guys can make a different version out of it. Like Ballads, perhaps? Acoustic version?
Make something different. ^__^ I already have some ideas on what the program would look like |

What I would really like would be Cowboy bebop. Theres definitely pieces from that which could be played, even if it is from a jazz theme, and yet are still absolutely fantastic.
The other thing which I would really love, would be if you played anything from Mystical Ninja (or Ganbare Goemon). Although I'm doubtful many people on here know what that game series is. Nevertheless it is greatly musical, and of really good quality. |

ganbare goemon? wow that is a really old game for me, you just reminded that some of the musics are really cool but the musics were from back the days of super nintendo, it might sound really different when the same song is played in the orchestra... _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |

OMG Hiro I was so excited when I saw Thanatos on the list!! (whispers - I was singing the lyrics while you were playing... mwahaha...)
I'd really really be over the moon if you played "Munashiki Nagare" and/or "Heisoku no Kakudai" next year. (Same End Of Eva soundtrack). These peices are AWESOME!! ><
And NO I say keep your tradition in not announcing the pieces... it's kind of become an eminence custom... so it's sort of your trademark and part of what you're known for.. also it's exciting... and finally, if you want to change something or you HAVE to change something (for some last minute odd reason like copyright or something) then you won't disappoint anyone who was dying to hear that particular song played because they won't know!! _________________

I'll admit that not everything in it is good, and personally I don't think the main theme is fantastic. However there are pieces featured within the show itself which are really good. Though you don't so much get to hear them as much in the anime. I have pretty much the entire collection of it's music, and whilst I would definitely not say that I enjoy it all, There is a substantial number which I think are really quite good.
I suppose it also comes down to wether or not you like the style.

The snes music is nice. However the 64 music is different, and much more updated (and in my opinion better).

Ok, since you asked for it:
Ah My Goddess Movie - Song of An Angel
Argento Soma - A Wonderful World (the orchestral version)
Banner of the Stars II - Opening
Crest of the Stars - Opening
Earth Girl Arjuna - Didn't it Rain and One
Escaflowne TV - Flying Dragon
Escaflowne Movie - Black Escaflowne
Macross Plus - National Anthem of Macross and Myung's Theme
Nausicaa - Legend of the Wind
Porco Rosso - Mamma aiuto
Sousei no Aquarion - Brown Horses
The Twelve Kingdoms - Opening
that's all I can come up with, trying to take into account you'd prefer not too many unusual instruments and such.
Edit: bugger, now I see the thread in the next forum |

Hiro-san, i was playing computer today and from the tv i heard a familiar tune being played by an orchestra i was so enrapped by it that i went and sat in front of the tv. You know what it was? My favourite song at the moment Bohemian Rhapsody it was so engaging to hear it being played by an orchestra. Hiro!! please play this at ANIF06! It is sweet sorrow!! I don't wanna die! But sometimes i wish i'd never been born at all... ohhhh Hiro!! did you hear it on tv too?? _________________

toyota commercial song, been looking for that and apparently it's called asian dream song, but hey with the joe hisaishi songs, any of them will do, the nice ones are not just from the animes, in fact i think the better ones are actually not even in the animes, but he's got so many albums released already and that will take ages to listen to all of them hehe _________________ I dunno better things to write for my signature so here it goes! |

Any chance of any Sonic song/pieces?
Lol. Not just old Sonic themes but as well from Dreamcast and Saturn Games as well seeing as how they had a SonicTeam Orchestra...or something along the lines of that. |
