Any one play this game, its the best game I've played. I play it when I still have mine Pentium 166, and I am still playing now with my AMD 64 3500+. Excellent game made by 3DO (own by UBI soft now). There are some games bring up memories, this one is definitly one of them. Other classic one includes Red Alert, Starcraft, Rainbow Six, Quake 2, Operation Flashpoint.

If you play 3, I am sure you will say 4 is shit. 4 is just good graphic, nothing else. Go to IGN.com, you will find 3 score very high.

wouldn't be too surprised about it... i used to play King's bounty (way back on sega system Very Happy) which i reckon is the base for heroes of might and magic

the good thing is that you can play the game together with your friends, since it is turn based, you can go out for snack for a while and swap turn hehe. oohhh the good old turn based game how i loved it

HOMM 1 is still fun to play, haha. HOMM5 is coming out in Feb or so I read somewhere, part 3 is still the best but the expansions AB and SoD are a bit iffy. Speaking of which, anyone up for a multiplayer sometime? Lol.

Heroes I-III were very good, but IV was a shocker! What the hell happened there? They had good music too, II&III especially.

I loved Heroes I and III. I don't think I've played II though.

Yeh IV was awful but isn't that because they changed production companies or something?

Shoulda stuck with what worked *nods*

Heroes of Might and Magic III was great. I spent some hours during high school playing. More than too many. I think one time I didn't get up for like 4 hours or so, I was so engrossed in it. I completed it of course. Then I replayed it with cheats. That rocked way too much.

Lol, I did the same thing with the cheats. The game's pretty nifty when you're equipped with this wonderful cozy layer of invincibility and unlimited wealth.

Heh, yeah. Add to that the best units of the game, an unlimited amount of them (well, not at the same time of course), well you get the picture.

Unlimited movement points.
Complete spell book and 999 spell points.
Highest possible morale.
Archangels.
Best possible luck.
Death Knights.
All possible structures.

Need I say more Very Happy

I'll definitely agree 2 and 3 are top notch and 4 is a bit ugh. I recently played the 5 demo and i thought it was alright given it was a demo. Still needs a lot of work though. But heres hoping they put in all the stuff we want.

Lol, we used to play on my old Compaq, remember?

Remember when we played multiplayer? Hmm...what was the rule again? Only one cheat allowed per a game? Razz

Rejoice all ye who liked Heroes III, for Heroes V is out now! And, thankfully, it takes its inspiration from Heroes III, not the disaster that was Heroes IV.
