this might be a bit random but since we have quite a number of eminence staff here on the forum, i figured it doesn't hurt to ask....
how long does it usually take to organise a concert..? it looks like a lot of work but eminence seems to be able to put together concerts in the timespan of a month or so! ^___^
[btw did i spell organise correctly... =/ im not sure if its a s or z... yeah i suck at spelling *shrugs* ] |

It takes months of hard work to get events like this organised. The 2004 ANIF took over 12 months to organise Uematsu to come over to Australia.
So... any help is appreciated!!! _________________

12 months? nuts, oh and eminence is going to have another guest next year (sorry forgot her name), so yeah it does takes a lot of time, oh man they are really busy eh? probably receiving hundreds of invitations from different performances maybe?
[very off topic warning]
i thought as a verb it's to organize
but there's organisation?
oh man talk about the
aluminium Vs aluminum
harbour Vs harbor
colour vs color
prawn Vs shrimp
etc
btw bb_haha when u go to japan, i think in their schools they use american spellings more so be prepared :p

That'd be Youmi Kimura, the composer of both the Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle theme songs.
Obviously the larger the concert the more work is required, a concert such as Destiny or Piano Stories has less performers and is in a smaller venue. A Night in Fantasia is on a significantly larger scale, since it's a full orchestra. _________________

Pfft...
J-Hisaishi... you don't really know what we do do you?
We've met the music director at Studio Ghibli HQ, I've spoken to Hisaishi's wife as she is the new managing director of Wonder studio and more. Our next concert is the world's first concert where a studio ghibli animation is authorised with performance.
You assume a lot of things do you
No, it ain't impossible at all... but perhaps you may well be very disappointed when he does come over... _________________

The next concert is in actuality two concerts. One concert features Youmi Kimura, and the other is indeed ANIF 2006, separated into two sessions. Be sure to tell all your friends and family about it Let's make it the greatest aural experience you will have this year, people

Joe Hisaishi "could" come and perform with us.
Studio Ghibli "ANIMATION" screening with performance. Performance of music is already authorised several years ago... duh =P _________________
