Its already old over here in Japan. FFXII seems to be in the spotlight!

But nethertheless it deserves a thread. Is it out in Sydney yet?

The voice actor lineup looks impressive!

I've played the KHII Japanese version and I realised that they have fixed all the annoyance of camera angles and few glitches in the previous game.

So I'm definitely going to buy this one as well Very Happy

They need to bump up the difficulty lvl in KHII. Its easy as pie for platforming junkies.

Official Australian date is 28th September.

Imported U.S version in March. While it is a very good game as a game, as a continuation of the KH storyline, it dissapointed me. To me it has the weaker story of the 2 PS2 titles and falls close to CoM. The worlds had next to no connection to the overall plot so you end up grinding for 20 hours until any story advancement.

They focused too much on gameplay and forgot what truely makes Square games better than all the rest. Their stories.

Though worded like a 12 year old troll (I know u did it on purpose), you have a point Squally.

I recently finished DQVIII and it was a terrific game. While the story was adequet, it lacked any wow factor or any groundbreakingly new concept like Yevon or the lifestream. For those not following, DQ is an Enix franchise.

The first big game Square Enix released was FFX-2. I think most people would agree with me that it had an abysmal story. CoM was a GBA title so that's excuse enough. Added with the concept of twilight in Riku's story made it the most meaningful GBA game I've ever played. AC was eye candy, admit it. And of course the game of subject KH2.

This might be a bit unfair as I only see FFX, FFVII and possibly KH on a whole different level in terms of story. So the hit rate isn't that high.

I'm really hoping FFXII will have a good story though. That would cast away this silly annalogy.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ was announced. It is also to be bundled with Re: Chain of Memories, a remake of the GBA title in full 3D with voice acting.
