Generally 6 per day, sometimes 7- if you count 0 periods and afterschool classes.
We have 45 min and 75 min classes =D

ah, just cos cocopuk refered to having a 75 minute lesson, which would be almost 4 periods a day.
most schools have 6 -8 periods, but my school only has 4 per day. i havent seen another school with 4 periods a day other than mine.

| we've got combinations of 75minutes and 45 minute lessons.. much of the time it's 6 lessons altogether |

72 and 78 min lessons?? wow wat random numbers!!
... oh well --- but my 75 min chem class was really HORRIBLE other than the smell i remember miss forcing us to do work and half the class was peuking everywhere =_=
anyway off topic again i got 12/20 should be good enough =D

12/20 oohh sucks, looks like i'm getting old 
oh hey i used to have like 52 minutes of class, pretty silly number because they swapped from 8 period to 6 period days for some reason during my time. then they took away our recess period, sucks
