Hello
I went to the melbourne performance of piano stories III, and it was awesome. What i wanted to ask is will there be merchandise to purchase like at PSIII??
Also, this is gonna sound stupid, but are there any items prohibited to be used at the concert?? ie. Can you bring a camera and turn off flash??
Looking forward to ANIF 06.... after my exams :s

Thanks for going to the Melbourne PSIII concert, glad that you enjoyed it
Yes, there will be plenty of merchandise to purchase at ANIF06, including CDs, posters and programmes.
And as for prohibited items, no, it's not a stupid question. This is a matter that will always be reiterated. As with all live performances and concerts, the taking of photographs of any kind are not permitted. This includes non-flash photography, video cameras and so on. Not only does this disrupt the enjoyment of the concert of those around you, but it is also infringes on the rights of the musicians, performers and Eminence as a whole.
I am sure that people would much prefer to just sit back and enjoy the concert than to be busy taking photos anyway
Thanks for your questions and we look forward to you coming to ANIF06! |

No visual OR audio recording is permitted. So not just cameras and video cameras, but random microphones and so on. Think of it like a cinema, you are paying to see something that you'll enjoy. If you record it and hand it over to someone who didn't pay, it harms us and everyone who did pay gets their nose rubbed in it.
I understand that people would want to take photos for their own personal use, but we have professional photographers who take pictures during the concert, and last year at A Night in Fantasia 2005 we filmed the event as well for the upcoming DVD. And as for audio we always release a CD. Well except for Destiny, that's a crying shame but it can't be helped now.
I'm sure it goes without saying, but I'd better mention it anyway, you can't bring weapons into the concert, nor can you bring drugs or alcohol. Again, think of a cinema. We don't want our patrons harming, nor do we want drunken people disturbing the performance or other people. Feel free to go out and party afterwards.
It's not a stupid question, especially if you haven't been to an orchestral concert before. If you've been to Piano Stories III then you know what you can't do, because I announced it during the concert.
