The violin controller is able to detect how well you're playing, as to whether you're "bashing the strings like ACDC or elegantly stroking them like Niccolò Paganini."

Wouldn't this be better suited to the Games forum?
The idea is certainly interesting, but hardly original. Personally, I'm more enticed by the likes of Guitar Hero and Wii Orchestra. There's a digital keyboard/piano of a similar function; it contains a bank of songs of varying difficulty and rates the performer's sight-reading as a percentage. Rather than being a game, it's an in-built feature.
