| Hey guys, since no one started this fan thread, i think i should make the lead. heheheheh I reckon eminence should perform some of his splendid movie music such as pirates of the carribean, Gladiator, Poseidon, Wu Ji (The Promise) and etc. Please consider performing his work in future. I'll be looking forward to that concert. Might even purposely fly all the way from Malaysia to Melbourne/Sydney to attend the concert. =p |

Klaus Badelt has a VERY similar style to Hans Zimmer, so it would make sense to play HIS music AS WELL as Klaus Badelt's.
Considering Badelt did the music for the first Pirates, and Zimmer did the second, that only proves the point XD.
Zimmer has done awesome work. My personal faves are The Lion King and The Prince of Egypt.
He also has a longstanding relationship with producer Jerry Bruckheimer, which is why you'll see them work alongside each other a lot.
Word of note, it was Zimmer (and Lisa Gerrard) who did the music to Gladiator XD; The Battle is just so damn awesome! _________________ t8 | Comin at ya with Medium Course Language and Sexual References |

Zimmer never makes music guys. He actually gets another composer and stamps his name on it. _________________

| HIRO !!! ARE U SERIOUS ??!!!!! If it's true, I'll hate such lame person. If you can't compose music, just admit it. Don't use ppl's music and stamp ur name there !!! It's such a lame way of getting famous !!! Such act is intolerable and unforgiven !! >.< I wonder who's the person who composes the music for him then . >.< |

Wow, that came as a blow. It's sad to know such things. But Zimmer's unoriginality is rather obvious since you see Klaus Badelt do the first Pirates movie, then Zimmer doing the second. And they sound the same. I mean, other movies that change composers over the installments do not really sound this close.
I'm still very much a John Williams fan. Haha... But i'd really love do hear Eminence do other composers as well, like Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek!). Not many composers can create themes that stick to your head. |
