Whats yours?
Mine's ...........
hmmmmmm
omg i dont know.
It used to be Karekano.
Well I do really like the Tsubasa Chronicle ost...
A lot of people think its just a ripped off version of Hacksign, noir or something. but eh, i haven't seen any of them.
Noir has really good music though, esp
Canta something something
Hoshi no Koe's nice too
And bugger, Brain dead. Can't remember anything. |

Well if they are a 'rip off' it's the same composer, Kajiura can't rip off herself. Noir's OST is certainly not like Tsubasa that's for sure. I haven't seen Hack yet, so I can't say much about that.
Canta per Me is what you're thinking of, and yes it's quite the song.
I'd have to say picking one favourite of anything is difficult at the best of times.
The music from Tsubasa Chronicle, Naruto, Noir, Full Metal Alchemist, Princess Mononoke, GITS Stand Alone Complex, Gunslinger Girl and Spirited Away all deserve specific mention. (In no particular order there) |

haha yeh thats the thing.
Its the same composer, however people don't seem to allow a composer to have his/her own style and that each and every different anime must be completely different. O_O
I think its fine. However it could be funny sometimes. Its like hearing some random song from Hisaishi's cd and going.. "Hey wait a minute. thats.. howls moving castle... but.. not really.. with a mix of totoro in it o_O" It's Great.
But yeh, Noir and Tsubasa do have their similarities :p
I still like TC better than Noir though. Though Canta per Me really rocks.
And I think Ive kinde become a fan of Kajiura Yuki's works now
She also teamed up with Toshihiko Sahashi for Gundam SEED Destiny's 3rd OST |

I finally got the Tsubasa soundtrack.. the songs I hear more often in the anime I don't like... but the songs I hardly hear or I haven't heard before I like. o.O;; why is that??
Like "you are my love" and "dewdrops" "morning moon" and "ruthless" .. hmm..
I don't think it's the music that I didn't like about .Hack... it was really the story.. that ruined it. >< So when I watched the first episode of Tsubasa it just had an aura that remined me of .hack... so I shivered...
as for Noir... I liked it. (but I haven't finished it. ><) I really didn't mind the music... there was one song I really liked too. (the song that the locket played... but the funky up beat version.) _________________

Favourite anime OST... hmmm...
I've actually got a few: Bleach, Ninja Scroll(TV), Read or Die(OAV), Ghost in the Shell:SAC... and thats just the ones I can think of right now! oh, and cowboy bebop = good too.
I have to agree with you about "Canta per Me", that song is great. Its even better that I can understand most of it. yay for learning another language.
and its great to see these forums back up and running. |

The Twelve Kingdoms, Escaflowne, Macross Plus, Noir, Hack Sign, My Hime, Laputa, Nausicaa, Porco Rosso, Jinroh and Beyond the Clouds all have outstanding music.
Must agree about Canta per Me, it's really good stuff. It's up there with Voices. |

a track from tsubasa chronicle was played before at another concert?
they have awesome piano pieces and singing with piano in it too
lets hope a few of the tracks would get played in '06
tsubasa chronicle is a good series, except first season finished, i heard there's a another continuing season coming out, probably because the manga shows this, then again it might not be another sesson for a while
there should be a movie of it coming out soon, the OST of it came out, it hasnt been released yet thats get-able _________________

Yeh Tsubasa Chronicles has very nice music I think
OST 1 and OST 2. wahh storm and fireee~~ XD
Except, the series is ooookay. It can be boring to some.
There are the borings bits and the interesting bits i suppose.
Watch for yourself.
I would say its cuz of the music that made the anime good (and if that is true, then the series would be considered crap).
Kajiura Yuki also worked with Toshihiro(sp?) on Gundam SEED Destiny |

Nope! Grave of the fireflies had a different composer. (i think )
I swear the song that plays in the credits of Spirited Away is by a woman, because in the extra disc (if you bought the bigger dvd collection) they talk about it heaps and the woman plays a funny looking instrument... so i think it's Kimura Yumi, does anyone else know?? _________________
