Who has NDS lite?? Discuss NDS and its games here!!

Hi all,
Just wondering who has bought NDS handheld or NDS lite in here???
I bought it at the first day release!!!

lol.... i got mine months ago imported as soon as I found out children of mana was gonna be released as a dungeon crawler Smile

and tales of phantasia was also being released (do not own a GB).

Games wise i have mario kart (of course)
super jump stars
tales of phanasia (GB) and sword of mana (GB)

and when i complete them all, i will being importing daigasso and getting another code...hmmmmm.... daigasso Smile

and eagerly waiting for ff3 and tales of tempest and children of mana

but, yes I like the lite.

i never really had a problem with the japanese in jump stars. By the end i was able to read what the missions were (object association, no real reading). Managed to be able to navigate through the menus easy without translation (most menus are standard in all games and pics help).

My only dilemma is that no one here buys it because of the jap, and therefore the potential mutliplayer does not happen.. otherwise i will be getting number 2 definitly.

yeah, unfortunatley doesnt support online, maybe they will change that for the second one. I have found the four player multiplayer fun, but only one cartridge which is bad. I wonder, if all people have the cart, if it allows you to change the battle mode into survival or time etc, or if it is still srictly set?

and only having four characters (all of which i dislike using) is not good.

I'll get a Lite eventually, but I don't like the White one and don't really have the cash to spare at the moment. I'm not sure if I'd prefer the Black or Navy, but I do want a dark one. The only thing about those is that they aparrently show off fingerprints really well. Damn you, glossy coating!

yeah, ds owns. got mine on launch day as well. my ds is decorated with ugly mariokart stickers i got from those connection tours ^_^

Recently got Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, and got Sonic RUsh just the other day.

I got to the Mario Kart round of the tournament at the DS Connection Tour at Macquarie Centre, but this time they were running it on Lites. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good at MKDS (got to 5th out of 256 in another tournament earlier this year Razz

), but using the Lite I'm hopeless at it! The new d-pads are shocking! I could hardly manage to get a single powerslide boost on each corner, let alone the minimum two I aim to get. I'm sure with extensive play I'd get used to it, but for now I'm in no rush whatsoever to get a Lite. I can wait as long as it takes to get a decent colour out here, but even then I'll more than likely stick to playing Mario Kart on my Fat.

On the topic of colours, this guy broke his Lite and got a new one.

I'm sticking to the FAT old DS! But the lites do look cool, the game i'm currently addicted to is Zoo Keeper *.* One of the best earlier DS games definitely for me!
