ANIF 05 CD

Has anyone else still not received their cd yet? I'm getting impatient and concerned...

Ok here's what's happenned.

The CDs have been printed and delivered but there has been a series of typos and mistakes on copyright information.

What I had in mind was sending in the CDs with the mistakes to everyone and then sending them the tray and cover later when we got them reprinted. However, in our staff meeting, that was scrapped and was voted for sending you guys your CDs AFTER everything was finished.

The CD Duplication company has the artwork and making plates to print the CD Covers and Traycards now and should be delivered to us by the 14th of April. That weekend, our staff who made the critical errors on our cover will re-insert those paper into the CDs then it will be sent out.

Its unfortunate that a series of setbacks has happenned to one CD. I apologise here and I will apologise in the letter to all that is conscerned about the late delivery. In the future, pre-orders of CDs will probably not be available and in certain circumstances like Piano Stories, the CDs will be pre-produced in a studio and produced in order to sell at the concert.

I hope you understand and again, I would like to apologise for the delay.

Ummm... woops... that above reply was for WoJW.

ANIF05 CDs are still being mastered, mixed and selected since it is going to be a compilation DVD and the best of Eminence so to speak.

ETA on ANIF05CD/DVD will be late May, Mid June.

Sorry for the inconvenience but it takes a long time authoring DVDs and getting the tracks perfect.

i rather have a really good dvd and cd, its worth it =]

besides, no one would want the cd and dvd early if it was going to be really bodgey eh?

im ok with the wait... seeing as i have looots and looots of schoolwork to keep me occupied in the meantime ^_^ lol.. *points to self and holds up sign reading 'nerd-wannabe!!!'*

cant wait for the CDs and DVD to come out! ^_^

Ok, WoJW will not be on sale cuz the stuff up with the CD covers... We may be able to get them on sale for Sydney though.

WoJW is probably the best orchestral CD out from Eminence, as some of the tracks are better than the OSTs out!

However, there will be a Piano Story CD Alexey has compiled last month which will be on sale (physically, no more preordering thank god!), Melbourne, if we're lucky, but definately for Sydney.

^ I imagine we just receive the CD - I paid $25 at ANIF05, and my understanding is that it was just the CD.

That said, is there anyway we can confirm that our orders are still viable and we'll receive the CD? I wasn't given a receipt to confirm my order on the day :/

to be honest, they just write our orders on a small notebook, they didn't give us any receipts, and i paid for them already.... it's nearly one year, i mean hey what's going on? hopefully the same thing won't happen for ANIF06

anyway... try emailing one of the staff, maybe one of them can help you.

I don't mean to push this topic, I'm just hoping that somone who knows what's going on will respond. I was wondering what was going on with the ANIF05 CD. Last we heard the ETA was May to Mid-June. Well, it's coming up on Mid-July now. I'd just really like to have an update. Thanks.

Don't panic people, I'm sure you're all pretty furious at the 12month delay on the CDs. But they are being made, since there was a little (hah!) hiccup along the way. So don't worry, it will come soon...

Some of us have ordered, I myself being one. But that was only available on the night of the performance. But yes, as soon as they are printed...

I'm not furious, I would like closure though. If I'm not getting the CD, I'd rather pay my boyfriend back for it since he preordered it for me.
