Eminence proudly presents Piano Stories III, featuring music from Final Fantasy and Studio Ghibli films including Princess Mononoke & Spirited Away. Many fans of Nobuo Uematsu’s music from the acclaimed Final Fantasy series love the orchestrations of his work, but not all realise that since Final Fantasy IV, each soundtrack has spawned a Piano Collections album featuring selected tracks re-arranged for piano. Together with Joe Hisashi’s award-winning Ghibli compositions, the night will be a spectacular show of piano performed by one of Australia’s most talented musicians.

Alexey Yemtsov, a pianist who stands equal to only a small number of other geniuses. Having won the Horowitz International and the Prokofieff International Piano Competitions, the Ukrainian has established himself as one of the most gifted pianists in the world. Having performed as part of the Eminence Symphony Orchestra in both A Night in Fantasia 2004 and 2005 as well as the World of John Williams concert, Alexey’s ability to perform the contemporary pieces was nothing short of remarkable. He also proved himself as a superb soloist at the first instalment of Piano Stories, where he charmed many fans with his extraordinary piano skills and charm. Ayako Ishikawa has won many awards including a finalist in the National Classical Music Competition in Japan where she was the winner of Tokyo, Kanagawa and Chiba district strings divisions. She is currently studying for her Bachelor of Music Degree at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music with the Merit Scholarship.
