Vocaloid Synthesizer to Perform at Animelo 2009

Hatsune Miku, the cutesy mascot of the voice synthesizer application Vocaloid that has spawned countless fan-made videos on sites like YouTube and Nico Nico Douga, has been slated to perform at the Animelo Summer Live 2009 -RE:BRIDGE- concert on August 22. Animelo is the largest annually-held anime music concert in Japan and this year's artist lineup includes such notable vocalists as ALI PROJECT, Chiaki Ishikawa, Minori Chiahara, GACKT, and Nana Mizuki. This would be the first time that Hatsune Miku (much less a voice synthesizer) has been slated to perform at this live concert.
