Nana Mizuki to Perform in New Year's Show
Nana Mizuki, who has voiced many characters from Fate Testarossa from the Nanoha series to Rina Ogata from the currently-airing series White Album, will be performing in Japan's #1 music TV program Kōhaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle) which airs on New Year's Eve. Other artists on this year's program include the all-girl's band AKB48, singer Angela Aki, and flumpool. Past artists have included Shoko Nakagawa and Joe Hisaishi, who conducted an orchestra playing pieces from Studio Ghibli's works during last year's program.
This event is yet another sign of Nana Mizuki's success this past year as she managed to become the first voice actress to nab the #1 spot on the Oricon weekly charts with the release of her Ultimate Diamond CD. Her latest album is Mugen which is the opening song to the White Album anime series.
