(Back) To the Drawing Board
Eminence OnlineWith A Night in Fantasia 2009 less than 3 months away, it really is about time I showed you some of the 'behind the scenes' action.
Today's bite size piece of the pie shows you the incognito artists busy designing a mockup for one of the official promotional poster art for ANIF09. Feast your eyes:
Let's have a walkthrough without spoiling too much.
We're obviously trying to keep with the ANIF theme as we have ANIF07's poster as a reference. Just below that, we have a list of blurry names. Guests perhaps? Perhaps I'll let you in on it. Here are the names that feature on that top half of the list:
- Yasunori Mitsuda
- Inon Zur
- Go Shiina
- Chiaki Takahashi
- Kow Otani
Undoubtedly, there are plenty more names on the rest of that list, but we'll keep it on the 'downlow' for now. Exciting yes? I should think so.
To the right of the ANIF07 poster we have an image from the game Gears of War, and heavily cropped in the lower right corner there is an image from the anime One Piece. More pieces of the puzzle unravelled.
At the top of the photo we have a sketch which I'm happy to reproduce here:
Before you think it, "NO, it's not a threesome with a violin!" It is however 2 Eminence musicians and a composer. You probably won't guess who the musicians are, but tell me in the comments below which one of the three is the composer and who it is. (and you won't win anything, except maybe a special forum rank, maybe)
