More Piano & Strings Arrangements From Koshiro and Hibino
Live Music by Piano & Strings: 7th Dragon Super Arrange Version Announced
Japanese composers Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage, ActRaiser) and Norihiko Hibino (Metal Gear Solid series) are teaming up again. Hibino-san did the arrangements for multiple albums in the Etrian Odyssey (Sekaiju no MeiQ) series in the last few years. One of them was a Super Arrange Version with the title "Live Music by Piano & Strings." This simple, beautiful chamber music must have resonated with fans, because the arrangements continue.
Yuzo Koshiro composed the extensive soundtrack for the Nintendo DS RPG 7th Dragon (the OST is a full four discs!). Hibino's arrange album, Live Music by Piano & Strings: 7th Dragon Super Arrange Version will be published by Five Records (cat. number VGCD-0167) on June 24 for 3360 yen (about 35 USD). If you like small-scale chamber music, you're almost guaranteed to enjoy the combined work of these two masterful game music veterans.
