Dragon Quest IX OST Forthcoming

The Dragon Quest IX Hoshizora no Mamoribito Synthesizer & Original Soundtrack has been announced for an August 5th release. The two disc set (catalog number KICA-1460~1) will not feature a live symphonic suite, but rather a "synthesizer suite" (hearkening back to the oldest of DQ arrangements). The DS sound source, or "OST," will also be present on the disc. Presently, no symphonic suite album for Dragon Quest IX has been announced. However, a live concert in Japan has already been planned, so we think it's only a matter of time until the Symphonic Suite comes our way.
