Koichi Sugiyama has struck a deal with King Records (and, it seems, leaving Aniplex). A new SUGI label has been formed, and they've announced reprints for over twenty different Dragon Quest soundtracks in August and October of this year. Included in the list of reprints are multiple versions/recordings of the Symphonic Suites, as well as "On Piano," "Brass Quintet," "String Quartet," "Synthesizer Suite," and "Best Of" albums for all entries in the series. It's an absurd amount of music, to be sure.
If you have a loaded wallet and would like to build up a Dragon Quest music collection, this will be your best chance. Check out the release calendar at Game Music Revolution for full details.
